And we all called it. Not blaming them either, this will be aa huge seller. But there is always money to be made. At least they made it worth the money this time.

I happen to think it’s honoring those who built the sport. Back then it was less about glitter and more smashmouth. Uniforms were pretty basic yet the play was most important.

The AU brass have never agreed to change uniforms, at least in the past 50 years. They did orange jerseys in the 70s for a number of home games. When Dye was hired he hated them and they havent been worn since.
The only thing that has changed since Dye is the color of facemasks and cleats. Gus brought back the orange facemasks and AU wore them a couple times a year. Freeze is doing the same.
Aot of people, including me, want AU to wear their blue pants which they wear at practice. I think "all blue" would look good at home.
