Special teams need a lot of work.
Blaylock and Barnes could take some pressure off Mateer. He's gonna get rocked hard eventually.
Defense will only get better and that's crazy. Venables is a master level DC.

Baker's success and hoping the horns are humiliated at some point are all I have left. Awful.
I'm not sure how an OC adjusts to that number of injuries to start a season, it seems almost insurmountable. And I'll go ahead and admit that I wonder how many injuries are cured now that Hawkins is under center.

I relax when defense and special teams come out, which is a night/day difference from the last 14 years when we had to score 50 to win by 3. Venables has accomplished what we knew he would. Won't waste our time talking about youth and injuries on offense.
We all know this year could look like 97. I'm also certain the majority of us are glad to be in the sec. I'm looking forward to Maine on Nov 2nd.
That won't mean shite in Dallas.
