Does this coaching carousel confirm the SEC East's status?

Georgia, South Carolina and Missouri won every SEC East championship from 2010-14 and they all just settled for coordinators as their HC hires. This would never happen in the SEC West. Does this confirm the SEC East's understudy status and set it up for further mediocrity going forward?

Uh Dan Mullen was an OC at Florida before MSU picked him up.

MSU is probably the lowest on the totem pole among SECW jobs. As I said in the OP these three programs have combined for the last 5 SEC East titles.

When we eventually replace him at least we will land someone with some head coaching experience

The traditional East powers both poached sitting HCs in their last hires. UGA settling on a coordinator with no HC is surprising, but SC/Mizzou/Vandy doing it isn't surprising.

Last I checked, both teams from the West bent your arse over this year.

UGA went with the best prospective fit for the program. No one should be surprised.

I don't necessarily agree with OP, but Miss State is the bottom of the SEC West barrel. Not a great comparison.

Being on the receiving end of every Grindfest has made Auburn a stepping stone job
