No. Ole Miss lost four games in 2008 including losses to Vanderbilt and Wake Forest. 2012 Texas A&M is a much better team.

That OM team was much better than the 2012 A&M team.

I agree. Not as good overall. End of the year when both were really clicking, they were both very good. Of course it's very subjective, so goes a message board...

Yeah but LSU>>>>Wake Forest, and that goes for every year.

Too lazy to quote your post on my iPhone, but, suffice it to say, nowhere in my post did I mention anything about Texas A&M NEXT YEAR. So, your reading comprehension sucks.

Come on. The obvious implication was they're a 1 hit wonder.

I think a more valid comparison is A&M pre-Sumlin = LSU per-Saban.

You should be more concerned about losing to them again next year

I can't understand these people who think A&M isn't good/going to be good next year.. They're losing a few prospects. Awesome. They've also got a loaded recruiting class coming in, and their record-setting-just-dominated-your-team-a-month-ago QB is coming into his second year, where he'll know a ton more about playing in the SEC.

Looks like a recipe to be a contender IMO. If I'm wrong I'll own up to it, but you guys are fricking delusional if you think they're just going to magically suck.

Of course A&M is going to be competitive next year, and they will compete hard for the West, but program wise they haven't accomplished shite. Not even in Tier 2 programs of the NCAA. Sorry but winning the cotton bowl isn't that big of a deal in the grand scheme of things. A&M folks know football, so they know this. I just am tired of hearing about what they think they are going to do in the future. It looks good, but A&M hasn't won shite yet.
