The problem for Alabama was the turnover in assistants, not talent.

You do realize you have twice as much assistant turnover this year right?

SId, I may not be 100% on top of my game right now.

I’ve got baseball on my mind and basketball recruiting.

I still care about your fan base.

But he took the offense right back to the 90's with the loss of Locksley and Gattis - and the hiring of Sark.

I seem to remember quite a few LSU fans telling us that Sark, not Kiffin, was the brains behind those USC offenses in the early-00s after we hired Kiffin in 2014.

Great post Rohan

I think he is fired after consecutive 4-6 loss seasons in 2019-2020.

Alabana will hire Matt Luke.

If you see the AD leaving, then you know that Saban is trying to be pushed out. There isn't an AD in the country who wants to be the one who tried to get Saban to retire. My guess is there are some PTB who are laying low until they see a weakness in the program. When it does happen it will make GOTs look like a Sunday Family Dinner.

None of the above. He will ascend directly into heaven following his 10th or higher national sometime in the distant future.

Gattis was grip it and rip it - Sark is read, read, read THEN throw it, maybe.

Good luck with Sark's offense against better defenses.

Damn why does our fan base continue to ask dumb questions like these? I’m not saying he doesn’t retire, but it’s best to plan for him to be there and find a way to overcome it

Yes, but some of the assistants have been at Alabama before (Sark), and understand the system. This turnover may hurt Alabama this year as well, but if none leave this year, it will get better.

Either way, even with the high assistants turnover, Alabama went unbeaten in the regular season, won the SEC, and played for another national title.

Right in between Alabama's dynasty. Alabama, of course, has won more than twice the NC than Clemson though.

Well of course we know that. NS reloaded the staff with some folks that know the process, they know what it takes to compete for championships. If they help run rough-shod over the conference again and get the CFP again, then Bama will be fine.

Thanks William.

I can see the Bamas going with a safe hire just to get back to 6-7 wins for a few years.

Then they will make their run for Coach O.

Ro, Saban ‘s arse will be in a sling after this year. Losses to A$M,Auburn, L8U plus Arkansas.
By 2020 recruiting will be in the crapper and 2021 will be worse. Probably in the mid 20’s to mid 30’s by then. The end is near.

Hope you and the family are well.
Your friend, Herman.
