I don’t know I sort of consider it the head coaches responsibility to make sure you’re starting quarterback isn’t crying in the lap of his teammate. I love Dart but damn that was a terrible look.
I’ve never seen anything like that from him, so it almost made me think that he felt like he was being abandoned

Florida is favored and everyone in the OM building knows it - being an underdog as the #4 team you can easily play the disrespect card for motivational purposes.

I don’t think they’ll overlook Florida, but lack of depth and injuries could start to show up.

The muffed punt by Micah Davis (Kiffin’s starting RB that game) was the turning point - he was probably overwhelmed playing and starting at a position he’d never played before and also being a core special teamer

I don’t know, man, all ole Miss fans can still think about is LSU and Lane. I know Ole Miss and the rest of the college football media world are so depressed that this game has come and gone but now they’re actually gonna have to focus on the rest of their teams on their schedule and I wish them a lot of luck with that…. because that is no easy schedule.

Valid question.
The goal is 10+ wins and make the playoffs, so both LSU and Ole Miss are still alive. Heck, the loss didn't hurt LSU that much, they're still ranked 10-11. They can afford to drop one more before it becomes desperation time. And outside the Ole Miss transfers, I dont think it was really that emotional for any of the players, so I think a home game vs a respected opponent will have everyone's attention.
Ole Miss is in good shape w the win, but can't afford to coast on a road game, or it loses the advantage it got beating LSU.
And just out of curiosity, did Ole Miss showboat any in the Tulane playoff game? I can't remember, just that the margin was big. But I bet Sumrall remembers that game. He might be eager to get a piece of Pete with an SEC team, instead of a G5 team.
