This is a stupid way to look at things. What you're dismissing is far more vital than the attractiveness of a building's facade
Not dismissing those other “vital” things, but functional shelter and housing existed long before plumbing, electrical, or HVAC.

Name a sport that texas cares about that LSU has more titles in? There aint one. Football is Alpha. Texas is Alpha.

Gee, when I was at OU the big rivalry was between the engineers and the law students. Always pranking each other.
The architects didn't have time for that stuff. They pretty much lived at the architecture center. But at the time it was kind of cool. They shared the same space as the athletic offices. This was Switzer era and a few of the architecture guys said that Barry Switzer new them on sight because they shared the same lobby.
