We had more sacks, TD passes, TD receptions, yards, completions, etc. and the same amount of TFLs

You had the same amount of TFLs because you guys played a ton of snaps on defense last year.

That's to be expected since we've been really bad for many of those years. We aren't really bad this year

Ole Miss played more to it's potential than we did last year, I won't argue that. But our players were better than yours across the board and that is still the case.

Not really. Most of our defense's problem was our offense went into a slump midway through the season and we had no depth. Plus our secondary wasn't any good.

I like that explanation because it doesn't explain the Alabama and Texas games which were glaring deficiencies with the defense which were not heavily related to the offense.

you don't need to be an NFL scout to know that we have more talent than freaking Ole Miss.

Texas you're right Alabama not so much. We couldn't move the ball on Bama. Texas just completely dominated us and we scored garbage points to make it look a little better.

Texas game - Agreed. Defense was awful.
Bama game - Not so much. They weren't great but they weren't bad. Bo Wallace went full retard with 3 picks in the 2nd quarter. (Maybe 2 picks and a lost fumble) and put the defense in a terrible place. Plus IIRC one of Bama's TDs was a kick return

Your RBs and secondary are better no doubt. But everywhere else c'mon man.

Yeah, Bama left another 80 yards of offense on the field because they got a 99 yard kick return. I enjoy that Ole Miss fans continue to argue that special teams don't matter. If you guys don't learn how to cover kicks and kick field goals, you're going to lose a lot of games in the conference.

Your tears in particular will be so sweet. Hopefully you won't be banned as you usually are when something bad happens to LSU

no. yours will.

i sort of like that y'all really think you have a chance. The last few years have been fun but I miss that. That 2003esque feeling around Oxford that this is the year only to have us rip your hearts out again. There is no fan base more deserving of the misery.
