This is the first time I've heard the entire interview. I believe he was simply trying to say that the coaches who you may assume are your first choices, may not always be the best coaches.
I kinda compare O to Trump. Before he ran for President, everyone in the country loved Trump. Before O won a Natty going undefeated, everyone thought he was a great guy, including posters here who thought he would never win the west, much less a title.
Let's see how this season plays out.
