I’m not sure why this has you all bent out of shape. Drink is a damn fine offensive coach.
I am not bent out of shape. Yes, Drink did a hell of a job. I am just tired of seeing how people are comparing Harsin's O to Gus'. They are very different. Every article I have read on Harsin's O calls it a "pro style O". Gus' O has never been compared to a pro style O.
I only watched Mizz twice this year. I recognized play after play. Drink is not Gus, but you can tell he is very much influenced by him.

Was Nix ever coached to read the defense and make decisions?
Or did Gus try to use formation to get presnap look with a predetermined throw?

I think those predicting the demise of Nix are over estimating the quality of depth at that position. Like...there is none.

Does Nix fit into this guy’s system?
Nope. Nix will be released and the new coach will use our back up QB
Roy bout to go in dry

Not likely going to be the end of Nix.
We don't have much choice right now. He's the best we got. Anyone can see he has the tools. He needs to be coached better or he may just not have it. He wouldn't be the 1st talented QB to not make the transition to the next level well.

Harsin is good with QB’s. This is very good for Nix.
