Same can be said about Tennessee quite honestly
Historically that’s very inaccurate.
In state recruiting is over rated. If you play an exciting brand of football, with financial backing of deep pockets you can recruit regionally and nationally. Tennessee has more top 5 classes than out of the top 25 classes.

That said, Beamer needs to grow the balls to fire the weak points of his staff and bring in actual P5 coaches.
I thought he had some staff turn over already.

Does USC look like a stepping stone job Riley is worse off now, doesn’t have the same support he had at OU… he messed up and realizes it right now . I told you from start OU got the right coach OU fans needed in Venables . OU is out recruiting USC… OU is out playing USC… he is already trying to get out of usc saying he may retire early from college football and go to pros….. he has done nothing at all in college football nothing . He made OU consistently worse year to year . Were we shocked when it happened yes….. but we all knew what he was saying was lies and we knew after he lied about stuff that happened when he left was proven to be lies. No on robbed his house lol. They reported a black Escalade driving around his gated house lol. Go read a usc forum and tell me usc is better off now … nope
LOL Melt.
I was just fricking with you because I knew that that comment would strike a nerve.
Wasn't serious though.

We are the second all time winningest program in the SEC
Nope...
Georgia passed Tennessee up.
The Vols are now third and will lose more ground this season.
And Georgia also has a winning head to head record over Tennessee.

All that shows is that the Vols have enough money to fix AD mistakes and do not accept mediocracy. While Uof SC is not that willing or able to want better.

Doubtful, they look really bad in year 3 with an experienced roster. Looking at 5-7 in year 3 and losing a ton into year 4.
Not good for the Cocks.

SC lost a ton of both the O-line and D-line going into this year. Lost to NFL drafted players in the defensive backfield. To top it off, they basically had 1 scholarship running back, who's 5'* and 185 lbs, with game experience going into the year. Those areas are exactly where SC's problems are located. We had a lot of skill players, but the support personnel were lacking.
