Well actually no. Bama had enough chances in the Red Zone. TD's instead of FG's and it isn't close. The receivers did not get the job done, and honestly they could have run Robinson more.

Metchie and Williams both injured themselves against Georgia. Georgia's elite defense is the reason you lost those players.
They had to push themselves too hard to compete with Georgia and paid the price

Again, that is their normal gameplan.

Dude, he literally nearly doubled his career high in receiving yards. Also, you just said most of his catches were irrelevant and that the RB's were more impactful.

The RB was open all night because UGA blitz, sometimes with both their LBs.

Someone should have told Bill O'Brien, but doesn't change the fact you were completely wrong when you claimed the pass to the RB was their most effective play all night as they resulted in 31 total yards.

Their plan worked to a tee.

I guess we'll have to agree to disagree on this point. Bama moved the ball consistently all night and if not for frequent routine dropped passes would have topped 30 again even without Williams for 3 quarters.

U did the same thing and Bama had Metchie for that game.

True, but they didn't have Williams for most of it.

Kind of disagree with you there. Latu dropped a key play for a TD but he's dropped a lot of passes during the season. He also missed several key blocks.

In fairness I wasn't watching him for blocks and several receivers dropped passes, which was shocking to me. I will bow to your superior knowledge on this, since you are a fan and was watching Latu more closely than i was. I just remembered the catch and long run and the TD pass. Those stuck out to me most, obviously.

Bowers in gonna be playing in the NFL for a long time.
I agree. We felt like he could be special, but we honestly had wasted so much talent at TE. We rarely threw to them. It's good to see us come out of hibernation on that.

Sorry we got off on the wrong foot. I have nothing but respect for Alabama.

They threw to eight different receivers and Latu just got more of the targets because he was a big part of their plan. Brooks, Holden and Bolton combined for 19 completions and the RBs for 5. That has been their game most of the year. What was taken away with the Williams injury was the deep threat and UGA wasn't going to give that away anyway.

True, but they didn't have Williams for most of it.

But like UGA, Mason had a plan not to give up that big play the entire game. Mason had two Safties over the top most of the game.

Bowers sans injury has a chance to be a great TE for a long time. The Washington kid has great potential too.

But I do not care, the QB limits that team, good story or no. An elite or even consistently solid one makes that team unbeatable.

Everyone has to deal with injuries. Maybe not for that much longer as the lawyers will have everyone playing in bubbles eventually.

With Metchie they carve that up. The other receivers were not getting open and not catching the ball. He is a technician and UGA could not cover him. He opens it up for everyone.

I mean who do dawg fans think wins if Metchie and Jamo play?

JAMO was getting talks of top 10 in the draft. Bryce threw 4 td and 0 ints with JAMO. Without 1 TD and 2 ints. Seems pretty black and white to me.

Reminds me of the Titans offense with vs without AJ Brown. lose to the jets without, beat KC with.

He didn't against AU. Kirby was arrogant in the SECCG and thought his players could outplay Bama's one on one. He changed it last night.

He is amazing. Unfortunately, a lot of people kind of anticipate he may enter the portal. bowers getting most of the action at TE the reason.

I have no ida, and neither do you. I mean, who do you think wins in 2010 if Colt McCoy does not get injured?
Nobody knows. We can all guess. We can all speculate. But in the end nobody knows, nor will we ever know.

What would the game have looked like if Dominick Blaylock or Arian Smith were not injured? How about if Marcus Rosemy-Jacksaint were not injured? All are great young receivers that we played the season without. how about if Tykee Smith had been healthy?
Shall we talk about George Pickens being 11 months out from a torn ACL injury?

We both could go on and on about the injuries that our teams had, but nobody can say definitively how the game might have been different, or if the out come would have been different.

And what difference does it make, anyway? They all were injured and we both had to play without them.

Not to mention some of your defensive players and a couple of our other players that could not play.

Seems pretty black and white to me.

That's because you are looking at it with Crimson and white glasses. I will counter your speculations with some of my own and we can come out with the same outcome we got last night.

Put Metchie and Jameson back on the field, and I dont think there is any doubt uga gets smoked exactly like they did in the SEC Championship.

Bama would have needed a better QB at the least.

Nope. No stomping, UGA got pressure on Young this time and shut down the run. BAMA has a better chance to win with those two in the game, but would be close either way.

The better team won.

In the SECCG, UGA didn't get any pressure on Young. Last night they were in his face the entire game. Bama couldn't run the ball. It was just a matter of time before UGA started hitting big plays on O.
