Sure they would, why not? LSU should have no interest because they already won, in Tuscaloosa. They have nothing left to prove because they already proved it. But bama has no reason NOT to want a rematch. They lost, they should want to play again.

Although I sincerely hope they don't, which is why I'm pulling for Stanford and Oklahoma State.

They want a rematch because of all their missed opportunities. They forget they'd get us in the Dome.

Bama had their chance, at their place, and blew it.

It was ugly, but LSU won.

Should we win out and finish #1, someone else deserves a crack at us.

We already beat them at their place when their best Offensive player racked up over 160 yards from scrimmage and ours accounted for what 20?

LSU took Trent's best shot and still won without getting ANYTHING from the vertical passing game that has been killing people all year. I say bring it on.

does bama really want to be the next team to fall victim to the new U in a bowl game and have their program collapse. They just suffered a horrible streak why would they want that again.

Of course they do! That would be stupid if they did NOT want to have a rematch with LSU. Why because ALL they need to do is set on their asses while WE do the work and help carry them to the BCS NCG. Hell they don't even need to win the west or SEC CG. We will carry them there while they sit on their arse and do nothing.

It's a fricking free ride of course they would want to be in that game.

Last time it was probably 55-45 Bama. In the rematch I would flip those odds.

There is an old math saying. If you have one watch, you know what time it is. If you have 2 watches, you don't know what time it is. When you have 10 watches, you start to understand the difficulty in knowing what time it is.

If there was a rematch and Bama won, it would just confuse the situation.

Of course Bamas want another chance at us. But were they gonna find a field goal kicker by Jan?

As an outside observer, who even admits that the Hogs needed LSU to win, I believe it's the other way around. LSU would NOT want to play Bama again. Admit it or not.

Why would we? We went to their stadium, kept them out of the endzone, and left it on the field. Why should we have to play a team that would have 2 extra weeks off, not play in a Conference championship game, and be looking for revenge? We shouldnt.. Next.

Very classy post.

Me- I wouldn't have a problem seeing us matched with Bama again. I think it would add some legitimacy to the BCS (if only for a year)- because if both win out, I believe an LSU-Bama title game matchup would for certain feature the two very best teams.

LOL, exactly what I thought - don't want no more part of Bama... why would you want to? Oh, maybe to prove you are the better team? The game the other night didn't prove one way or another who the 'better' team was.

We don't give a frick what you've done in your last few bowl games. If we get in there for round two, the gloves are comin off HOMEBOY.

Lots of false bravado from the Tide fans. Whistling past the graveyard. They want no part of LSU in the Superdome. None.
