Aranda ends up at USC if Fickell doesn’t take the job

I am stunned that LSU isn't backing up a Brinks Truck to Dave Aranda. And maybe they are and can't talk about it yet.

He is just the perfect - absolutely perfect - fit there. Good Grief, what is not to like about Aranda in Baton Rouge ?

Freshman QBs almost always struggle in the SEC, no matter their talent. So Aggies need to stop thinking the savior is a year away.

Coaches must recruit and develop a stable of QBs, or get what they need on the portal, that can execute their offensive game plan.

Jimbo clearly hasn’t done this in year 4. If he wants to throw instead of committing to the run then he needs to have a guy that can consistently do that.

I’m not saying fire the guy, but y’all need to recognize he has a blind spot here.

By next Fall, Haynes King will have been on campus for 2.5 years. 3 springs and 2 falls. If he ain't ready by then he will never be ready.

What promise did King show before going down?

Was it the 3 INTs against Kent State? Jimbo is in his 4th or 5th year so if he doesn’t have two QBs by now or even one that’s all on him.

Also, don’t you lose your best DL this year?

We were told that Steve Ensminger called all the plays in 2019 and Joe Brady was merely there for advisement.
Is LSU thinking of hiring Ensminger back as OC?

Their starter got injured early on but at the same time I think Jimbo is averaging 4 losses a season without Jameis.

He used LSU to gorge FSU for his last 2 years there. All the time the dumpster was starting a slow burn.

Jimbo is a great QB coach. Caldaza has personal limits but I am excited about king.

What does any of this have to do with this topic?

I think he’s offensive minded, but I wouldn’t call him elite.

King will be the starter while Weigman learns. Weigman doesn’t start next year barring another incident like this year

He was the only one “offered” because he was the first one to “agree” to take the job. Y’all missed on Sullivan, Corbin, and McDonnell. And that’s exactly how your football coach search is going too.
Talk about being wrong in every one of your posts. Jesus, take a lap.

Talking about elite offensive coordinators. I mean, wouldn't Ensminger fit into that conversation?

This topic isn't about elite offensive coordinators.

Still failing to see any connection.

I don't know. If you are asking about Jimbo I felt like it was fair to ask about Ensminger. Do you still feel like Ensminger is an elite OC?

I mean if you don't want to answer it's ok.

ETA
It's amazing to me how LSU fans tell us how back Jimbo Fisher is yet all y'all want to talk about is Jimbo Fisher. how you are going to take him away from A&M...etc...etc...etc...and so on.

"WE hate Jimbo, but that's all we want to talk about!"

Jimbo’s offense is not great without elite talent and an elite QB. That can be said for most offenses, but Jimbo’s really struggles when there isn’t a QB that can push and stress the defense. It is what it is. I think it’s still good enough to win a National Championship but no one doubts that the defense is the stronger unit. Very multiple. Disguises coverage well.

Me? Not strange at all. I was born in Baton Rouge and grew up an LSU fan. I went back to Baton Rouge as an adult with Delta Air Lines then transferred back to Atlanta.
My brother is a huge LSU fan. So, no. My fascination with LSU isn't strange, but the LSU obsession with Jimbo Fisher is very strange.

For somebody that their fan base claims is awful and they don't want him, all they do is post about him and how they are going to take him away from A&M.
