Is TxA&M the only SEC team not to play Alabama, Tennessee, Georgia, or Ole Miss? They are the next best teams in the SEC.

So, I guess we should edit stats like this after the final polls?
Yes
Let's judge schedules after the season based on preseason rankings.

A&M didn't actually beat a Top 10 team on the road since they dropped in the polls afterwards.
This is true

Let's look at an extreme hypothetical (which is a very good way to examine the validity of any claim).
Team A plays (and beats) Team B in week 5. Team B was the consensus Number One team in the nation and had been undefeated, beating its previous opponents (all ranked) by an average of 40 points.
In weeks 6-8, Team B suffers season-ending injuries to 3/4 of its starters, and finishes the season at 7-5.
When Team A beat Team B back in week 5, was Team B a solid win, or not?
If your answer is "yes" (the only logical answer), your argument has no merit. Wins should be judged vis-a-vis the team that you played on the date that you played them, not versus how that team ended the season.

I love that some rando on X with a typo-ridden post is now a form of "evidence" so long as they post something you want to read.

Are you insinuating that A&M can't/wouldn't beat any of those teams right now?

Four teams that dodged A&M. Someone fire Sankey!

Early and mid season rankings are irrelevant in determining how good a team actually is. We dont actually know where any of these teams should be ranked until probably at least 10 games have been played.

In this extreme hypothetical you could say it was a solid win at the time; it's still not a win over a top ten team. That's what was being discussed, not "solid wins". They finished 7-5 and most likely out of the top 25. Do they award the championship to the team ranked #1 in week 3? I don't think they do
In 2000 Bama started the season #3 and finished 3-8. You think UCLA should get credit for beating a top ten team in week 1 that year?

Alabama can no longer brag about beating 4 ranked opponents in 4 weeks or whatever they were bragging about because Im pretty sure one of those teams isn't ranked anymore.
You can't have it both ways baws

This does not help A&M in these arguments, yall played Missouri down to their QB3
There is no one on A&Ms schedule who was killed by timing of injuries after A&M played them

This is kind of true, except 3 of those 4 teams are still ranked in the CFP poll, so it's wins over top 25 in 3/4 straight weeks. Missouri might end up back in the top 25 at season's end though

You sure you want to give credit for Missouri?
A&M dominated Missouri @ CoMo in their 3rd straight road game.

If they finish the season in the top 25...then yeah
This really isn't that hard

Why do you guys want so much praise right now? Just win out and trust me, we will run through walls to either praise you or melt over you.

I’m thinking getting shafted by the committee in 2020 contributes to the continued BAS.

I just wish we had 3 wins. Home, road, ranked, unranked, doesn't matter to me

They fear they are going to get bounced immediately in playoffs
Their run defense is a serious issue for them. They are more vulnerable to some of the weaker possible playoff teams (think TTU, possibly BYU) than the others

Why does every slap-deek clown on tRant feel the need to start a thread explaining why 9-0 A&M sucks?
It isn't A&M that is insecure about its season. We got posters complaining that A&M wasn't scheduled to play Vandy. Think about that ish.
