Lane will use Auburn to get a bigger raise at Ole Miss, but he’s happy as a clam

Lane is not pursuing money anymore; he wants to compete for championships.

Barn won’t recover - Bama and UGA are squeezing the life out of them.

Besides, their biggest advantage in the past, cheating, had been eliminated by NIL

That’s why he won’t go to Auburn.

Right, because it has never been done at Auburn. Hell, Auburn competed for it with two of the most average coaches in College Football. That is not including TT. :rotflmao:

The more Kiffin wins at Ole Miss the more options he has , without having to deal with Auburn’s messed up BOD

I don’t, but every true Alabama fan wants Auburn to suck, you can bet your arse on that. Same goes for every rivalry.
Come on bro, do you even SEC?

Auburn has NIL potential far greater than Ole Miss. kiff doesn’t want to get stuck in Oxford and end up losing. He’ll take Auburn and then keep looking for a bigger job there. He has loyalty to lane Kiffin.

He’d love a FSU, Miami, or bigger.

That probably rules out Auburn and their meddling boosters

Auburn's worst enemy is itself. This is the reason you ended up with the coach you have

Kiffin will not go to Auburn if he ever wants to Coach at Bama, the tide faithful would not accept a barn coach. its pretty clear Lame will use auburn to get a raise and wait for saban to retire.

Lane Kiffin has Ole Miss playing above their historical average and Harsin has Auburn playing below theirs

Historically, Auburn is an 8-4 program.

Definitely a lateral move given the state of Auburn. Not sure it will ever recover

Meh.
That's what we thought about you rubes before Bahr Brunt Jr. got out of the way and let sabear do his thing with a blank check from the REC.

Ah yes, the uat favorite lie. Historically, teams didn’t play 12 games. Historically, uat is a 8-9 win team as well.

Why would Kiffin go to Auburn?

Because his ego can't resist becoming Bama/Saban's biggest rival. Watch it happen.

Talking to Lane Kiffins agent? Good move? Like him or not Lane is a pretty damn good coach in the SEC. He wins the games he’s expected to. Going to say. If Auburn doesn’t stroke a check in his way they are fricking up once again. ETA: JetDawg. Agent instead of manager.

Most likely, there is some type of contact but it might be mostly our boosters through back channels. I am sure they are also talking to Freeze, Muschamp, and others… I think Kiffin would be a solid hire. Kiffin/Auburn vs Saban/Bama would mean a lot fun for both fan-bases…

AU people have been in talks with Freeze since the Spring. I am sure the same people are talking to Kiffins people. AU did not want to be caught with their pants down this time, especially if Harsin doesn't make it to the end of the season.
Freeze would yank on his prayer robe and grab his Bible in a flash if Auburn came calling.

Why delay the inevitable? Can Harsin and get Freeze in asap.
