Bama has zero shot. Two of the worst losses

Vandy and OU are both 6-5 and headed to bowl games. They aren't great, but it's not NIU bad.

What no one is mentioning is Bama played 5 ranked teams and beat 4 of them. No one can match Bama's wins, not even Oregon, Ohio St, Texas, etc.

There are bad losses then there is losing by 21 to a 5 loss unranked team

That’s more than just a bad loss.

We didn’t lose to an unranked team in the final rankings in 2010 though. SC, LSU, and Auburn all finished in the top 25 with Auburn being the champ.

Bama deserves a spot in the playoff as much as LSU. So hell no.

Bama needs to lick its wounds and play the backups in whatever Tampax Bowl we go to. It’s time for a ground-up rebuild before we become FSU.

Of course Bama doesn't "deserve" a playoff bid. But we didn't decide to let 12 teams in either. There will be undeserving teams in this playoff every year.

And oddly enough, if we do somehow make it, we will likely be Vegas favorites against all but maybe 3 or 4 teams. 11-1 Penn St would probably be a 7 point dog.

We had 3 losses in 2010. If we hit 4, then you're correct.

With LANK (the collective holding DeBoer and coaching hostage) and all that's happened, this is the worst Bama season I can remember in my lifetime. I started watching in 1977.

2000 is the worst I can recall. Defending SEC champs and preseason #3 went 3-8 with losses to Southern Miss and UCF.

They could be 8-4 soon, maybe 8-5 after their bowl game…

It would be glorious just to watch the LSU melt but not so glorious when Indiana breaks it's 2 inch dick off in Bama's arse.

Im also pissed off at that shite I watched last night. Bama got out coached with Vandy’s fricking playbook. This team is inconsistent and some heads need roll on this staff.

UGA beats Texas in the SEC title game, giving Bama by far the best win of the at large bubble teams.

So Ole Miss's dominating win over UGA doesn't count?

What ranked teams? South Carolina won’t be after this week

Sure it does. We would both have wins over UGA, but if we are comparing Ole Miss to Bama, Bama has beaten more ranked teams and Ole Miss' loss to KY is worse than any of ours. There is no scenario where OM is in over Bama with the same record and they have no ability to improve playing by far the worst team in the conference next week.

Is that true if Mizzou and South Carolina drop next week?
