Agreed this year Bama would get smoked by last years LSU and Bama teams. I'd say we are about even with LSU this year. We got a tough win at Death Valley. But got the Benifit of playing an easier sechdule. And I completely disagree with you about A&M being better than Bama. But I'm not going to convince you in this thread so I'm not going to waste my time trying.
Wow. A level headed GUMP on TD. I know they exist in real life but I've never seen one on here.

You can play the what if game all day. But A&M won that game because of their defense. No Bama turnovers. No A&M win.
Look , special teams play and turnovers are a part of the game. Just like on nov.5th last year, you can't call career long fgs ( that pro kickers only make 50% of the time) points left on the field. I would expect Bama fans to Atleast admit defeat in this game rather than the ,"we beat ourselves " mantra. A&M actually missed fgs as well.
Also, saying, "if Bama doesn't turn the ball over , we don't lose"is meaningless. Of a team doesn't make a mistake , sure they probably win. That's like saying , " I'd get as many girls as RickDad ,if I looked just like RickDad". Of course you would.

JFF doesn't win the heisman if bama could've punched it in from the 5
Don't agree. He still would've broken Cam's record. Every player to break that record has won a Heisman.

Yes there was certainly a question. If Bama scores on that goal line possession and wins are they then not the better team? A&M won that game on defense and in the first quarter. If they play 10 times does A&M win 6?
A&M missed fgs making the score seem closer. This is the same arguement Bama fans use.

Dude just stop.....no reasonable Bama fan will disagree.....in fact I just recently re-watched that game.....and my conclusion was LSU played frickin' lights out that night.....yeah sure, had our kicking game been on Bama would have won....but it wasn't.....coulda shoulda woulda......LSU was just a little better that night and every little mistake was the difference between a win or a loss....LSU was just a little better

What boo hoo?
Bruh I'm not biased as give credit to Bama. I actually pull for Bama in every game but the LSU game. I even started a thread saying Bama's run from 08- present is a top 5 run ALLTIME. I'm sorry I don't think Bama is god's gift to CFB. They aren't unbeatable. Sorry you don't like any statement that isn't shining for your Tide.
Also, do you EVER actually talk football or sports on here? All you do is attack other post wr's opinions and statements because they don't have Bama's cock down their throat. Bama is a great program and yet all you like to talk about is what other posters think.
As far as the Bama Vs. A&M game, it's clear who the better team was. I don't know why Bama's new Off cord. is trying to be so pass happy. If Bama just runs and only throws on passing downs, they prob beat A&M because the reason A&M was able to jump on Bama so quick was because of the quick 3& outs by passing. When Bama did run , they were having 7ypc.

Les emptied the bag of tricks (or is it hat?) and still couldn't pull it off in Tiger Stadium, at night.
Good god you're dumb. We ran the ball right at you and threw all over you. We weren't running any trick plays besides the fake fg. Do you even watch fb?

The more compelling question is how many more times LSU fans will make this exact thread between now and next season.

Hey Jack...link me where I said LSU helped you blind squirrels find a nut against Bama.
Bottom line.....we worked you once and would do it again regardless of the fact that you caught Nick in his semi-annual slumber game.

Doesn't matter, beat Bama.
Posted on 12/26/12 at 11:22 pm to LaBornNRaised
I say no freaking way they do. LSU and A&M teamed up for a one-two punch on Alabama. Unfortunately, A&M got to finish the fight.

Probably not but we'll never know. Just Bama's tough luck but playing an emotional and physical game against what has been our best competition the last 5 years doesn't give you any excuses if you don't bring your "A" game the next week. A&M played better than Bama, thus they deserved to win. And even though I think Bama is the better team top to bottom, JFF was the best player on the field. And it ain't close

our players were tired and beat up just like everyone else. not to mention it was our 4th consecutive road game: ol'miss, Auburn, state, --> Alabama.

You're a little off. It was our fifth road game in six games. Played La Tech in Shreveport followed by LSU in College Station in between Ole Miss and Auburn. Still a brutal stretch though, as four of those six teams were ranked and Ole Miss was no slouch this year.

I would honestly be more surprised if we DIDN'T win the SEC before JFF graduates
Wow, just wow. This isn't the bevo 12, you don't just walk in and expect to just win the SEC. HELL, LSU and others have had everything seemingly in place to win the SEC to start the season and haven't in years past but didn't win. What makes you think it's so easy? You still run that weak bevo 12 offense and every good team figured your offense out in less than a half, what makes you think it will be easier next year?? Worse than the flagship are you.

To be fair, you would have laughed in the face of anyone who this time last year would have said that A&M would win 10 games in 2012 and look what happened. Not saying that A&M is a shoe-in for a conference title, but with our momentum and sick recruting class, my a-hole would be a tad puckered if I were LSU or Bama.

I say No. It seems like 10 years ago the game was played but if I remember correctly, even with everything going A&M's way, Alabama was one play short of winning. And, if things did not go A&M's way, how do you explain Manziel's TD pass after some weird stuff happened with the ball?
If LSU played A&M the week after the game against Alabama, A&M would have beaten the Tigers.

I'm honestly surprised by the season y'all put together and you deserve props for it. JFF will be tough to stop next year again no doubt.
There are also other pieces of the puzzle that make the SEC grind so difficult. What will you lose on that excellent offensive line? How many defensive starters will you lose? And you can look at LSU's season to see how injuries and other extraneous variables can dramatically change your outlook on any season.
I know tamu will be good next year, but the general attitude of most aggies here are that you are world beaters while you only beat Bama this year. I'm not trying to take anything away from that but much worse LSU teams have done so against much better bama teams in recent history.
Edit: About the recruiting class, please tell me why should I be worried about that? Is LSU's recruiting class hurting bc of it? LSU AND BAMA are not hurting in the least on the recruiting trail.
