Another win by GA and they will climb on to the bubble. Does UGA really want to beat the Cats if this is the consequence?

Certainly could as they are making a run at it.

Although I think the conventional wisdom is that he is relatively safe until the AD leaves.

I think tthey have to get to Sunday to get in, but if they do there's no AD in the country that would fire a coach like that

No way of knowing what McGarity is thinking but Fox isn't as bad as some have made him out to be. He's not an elite offensive mind or a dynamic recruiter but he runs a consistent program and really develops players. It's probably time for a change for UGA because there's no energy at all in that program right now but I could see the AD kicking the can down the road and accepting the consistent NIT/bubble level of play as good enough as well.

Don't really think the conference tourney changes anything with Fox, though. We know who he is. Just depends whether Georgia is okay with who he is.

My love for Yante Maten is much greater than my disdain for Fox. That dude deserves to be in another NCAA tournament. I'd take another year of Fox for a tournament berth.

They aren't winning the tourney, so no. However; it won't matter. He isn't getting fired.
