I'll be honest....I LOVE where the LSU program is today. We are recruiting lights out, have the most intriguing head coach in college football, have the best gameday/stadium experience out of anyone IMO....and have a damn strong football team right now to boot. Good god I'm so glad Im a tiger and not a Bammer

What's are the stat comparisons since 2000? Including wins/losses.

That would be a better comparison seeing as I'm 29 and don't give a frick about who won anything prior.

I can't think of any other sport program who bragged about wins 50 years ago then Bama football fans. Who cares, honestly.
I could give a crap that lsu won a natty 50 years ago. No fricks given.

Eta: only thing I want back is 1/9/12, seriously. That could have been an all time best season ever if we win. Our schedule was sick and we ran the table... Then a buzz saw

Considering there is no time table on success, unfortunately for you, you gotta count all the way back from the beginning of time.

Or, are you completely satisfied with what your team has accomplished thus far?

So, is that a yes or no?

My apologies for not answering your very legitimate question last night. The answer is it would be nice to have more championships, sure. I am very happy with the current state of LSU athletics. And I'd rather my alma mater not a have an athletic program than be an Alabama fan.

Fair enough?

You make it sound like you had to take a couple zanx to say this. But yeah, fair enough.

Do you wish your school would try to be at least competitive in a sport other than football. You know most SEC schools, outside of Tuscaloosa, are pretty good at multiple sports.

You're right. It would be great to second all time in men's basketball total wins and tourney titles and third in regular season titles.

Think of how much better again it would be if you could add in something like having the most all time wins in men's baseball and be, say, second in all time regular season titles.

Too bad Alabama can't have that kind of success.
