Do you think Knox or Sexton will be held out of any games

following the latest Yahoo report?

It seems a free meal or two may be the extent of the evidence, so far. Even so, Sexton was ineligible for 1 game earlier in the year related to a similar issue.

These two teams need to finish strong to make sure they qualify for the tournament and/or improve their seeding. Will either hold their best player out while they seek reinstatement from the NCAA?

Same issue. Re-instated by NCAA.

Not exactly. This was a different agent and these documents hadn't been discovered by the FBI at that time, I think.

Sexton already sat for a few games, did he not? I assume it was due to this issue. I would think Bama is in the clear. Anyone else feel differently? I admit I'm not all that familiar with all the details.

I find it interesting that Sexton sat in the early season yet Kentucky played Knox without any hesitation. Could end up costing Kentucky.

Wrong rashan Michel was a runner for Dawkins and Miller. He's tied in with that agency.

This is supposed to be a new revelation, so when Sexton sat, it was due to a similar but separate issue. I think at least. STill a little unclear at this point.

Honestly, I don't see why either would be held out. If they don't play both teams won't go far anyways. If they play and later are ruled ineligible, they are going to get the season vacated anyways. Again, I'm not even really concerned about UK's connection. The meal money can be paid back for Knox. Noel took loan money AFTER he left UK. Bam is the only one that is concerning. However, as long as UK wasn't directly involved with getting him the loan money, we won't be punished beyond vacating games he appeared in. We don't hang Elite Eight banners so nothing really changes.

Cal said earlier Knox will play. All he’s been tied to at this point is a meal at Texas Roadhouse that they can’t even determine who paid.

Sexton sat after it was revealed that the associate basketball athletic director at Bama arranged a meeting with Sexton's family and the suit shop guy in Atlanta and a finical advisor that was working as a CI for the FBI.

The documents released today involve a separate meeting with a different sports agent who had an expense report listing meals he paid for related to Colin Sexton. This incident allegedly wasn't known by the FBI at the time Colin Sexton sat earlier in the year.

Eta: they may be related, but the docs released don't read that way.

This is the worst part for me. Who in the hell wants to eat at Texas Roadhouse to impress future clients? That cinnamon butter is ok, but not as good as Malone's garlic butter.

Meal dude , not meals. Rashan Michel also works for Andy Miller and Dawkins.

All Knox has to do is donate the amount to charity and he's good to go, according to the NCAA.

Bam is the one that we should be the most concerned about.

Those meals for those guys probably amount to about 200 dollars at most. Sexton and Knox aren't on the list of players who received money

Good news for LSU is it doesn't involve current players.

If I had a current player named in the report, they would not play and would probably miss rest of season.

It is what it is with Bam. Like I said, worst case we vacate last season. Seems as if it appears that Bam's handler may have been the one that got the money and if that's the case, nothing happens. The only way UK actually gets any real punishment would be if they were directly involved in getting Bam money.
