It is what a group of obnoxious assholes. Like coaching at a school with higher expectations, better history and more success in the toughest conference in football in the same state as the greatest program in CFB is not enough pressure.

The reporter who asked that is originally from Knoxville and now covers UCF sports. He went on twitter after this question and talked about how unrealistic and psycho their fans are down there. Says they truly believe they should go undefeated every year and be in the playoffs.

I will certainly give Boise State, Harsin included, credit when it comes to their unique ability to maintain a solid program for decades through multiple coaching changes. It's unique among G-5 teams. Most will have a flash in the pan year, their coach gets a promotion, and then they crash and burn after they make a bad hire to replace him the way UCF did.

Yep - which is why I think Harsin has a pretty high floor. You don't just keep winning 9-10 games a year at a mid-major once the shine of the last guy wears off unless you know how to run a program, and Harsin's teams were extremely consistent for a while. I'm not sure how high his ceiling is (my gut says not super high), but he seems like a guy who will win between 8-9 games most seasons.
The AAC is a pretty solid conference these days, though. If you don't have someone who knows what they are doing you can slip to the middle of the pack pretty quickly.

Well yeah so does Clemson. When you have their schedule you will likely be undefeated every season.

Okay but Clemson actually has the talent to beat any team in the country, ucf does not.
