Proot has done a good job of hanging on and making sure the team stayed together and improved. A lesser coach would have lost the team and slid to a 2-10 season.

Aren't they (Georgia State) also Appalachian State's only loss?

Pruitt seems to have turned it around. Tennessee is playing pretty good football right now. They could be very tough in the next year or two.

They’ve played pretty well for 5 or 6 games in a row. Also had BYU dead in the water and blew it

Imagine if VOLS showed up week 1 and didn’t blow the game to the Mormons the following week. They would be 7-3 right now and probably ranked in the top 20

Pretty impressive turn around by Germy either way

Obviously sucked losing go ga state and byu, 2 games we shoulda won. But with that said, i had us winning 7-8 games this year (which is still possible) and i would much rather start slow and finish strong like we are doing right now.. as opposed to flaking out. We have possibility of winning 7 of final 8 games (not saying it will happen, but possible) and finish with bowl and 8 wins.. to even have that as a possiblity is amazing right now with the start we had. Crazy as it sounds, maybe we needed that early on to weed out the bad eggs from butches left overs and everyone else to buy in. Either way, hopefully we can get one of the last 2 games and those 15 extra practices, we need it.

Yes, and I still laugh about it from time to time.

Georgia State actually has a pretty good team, but they should not be able to beat Tennessee.

Again, though....Pruitt is doing work.
