Do you consider those who got a Master's online a T-shirt fan?

Had an interesting conversation with my cousins who went to UGA. They both got their Master's there, but one did it online and didn't go there for undergrad. The one who went the whole way through at UGA calls the other a T-shirt fan.

What says the rant?

Do ppl cheer for the team that they got a Masters from if they already cheer for another team?

Most tend to cheer for thier undergrad school.

You're a sidewalk fan unless you attended classes at the school.

To each his own.
Live & let live.
All that stuff.

(Honestly, I couldn't care less. I don't cheer for the school from where I received my Master's [not an online degree, though], but I don't root against em)

Can you even get a "credible" MBA online? I can't imagine how fricking hard that would be.

So? It's still a UGA curriculum, it's not like it's Devry of University of Phoenix. He's still got a masters degree from UGA same as the brother.

The brick and mortar schools that are doing online grad degrees - most of the time its more difficult than the in-class.

Phoenix, Strayer, Devry? They ought to let you pay the $50k up front and not waste your time.

But, to answer your question - dude is a Kennesaw grad that cheers for Georgia like 90% of other UGA fans, so it doesn't matter.

My wife has a online graduate degree from Troy University. She could care less about them and cheers for her undergraduate institution, the University of Mississippi.

I have a hybrid graduate degree (some online/some in class) from USM. I do not own anything USM other than a diploma frame.

He is right. The other is only on campus during football season and never went into a classroom.

Sidewalk.

The MBA is a tricky one. But other master's degrees (education especially), its really no different.

True.

JFF took only online classes at aTm, does that make him a tshirt fan?

I'm a professor.
More students do poorly and/or fail my online (synchronous and asynchronous) and blended/hybrid courses than do my face-to-face offerings.
And it's not even close.
When implemented correctly, it's much more challenging--for professors and students--to participate in online coursework.
