A player who graduates debt free is light-years ahead of someone who graduates $100k in debt

Please don't be this idiotic anymore

Please don't compare a FB Player at an SEC Member School that helps to generate $50 million per year in TV-RADIO Money to a dweeb with $100K in student loan debt that hasn't generated anything above the fees he paid to attend class

Assuming that the FB player stays 4 yrs, he helps to gross $200 million from TV-Radio during his Career, and that number can easily rise to $400milluon in his 4yrs when you add in Tickets, Merch, Concessions, Parking, that's why guys like you are so ridiculous when you start comparing FB & MBB Players to regular students

Title IX

I think it needs to be revised.
I’m honestly fine with football itself being given an exception.

Well, then, good luck getting Nancy Pelosi and every other Democrat voted out of the House and the Senate. Like I've said before, hell, even a shitload of Republicans have had daughters benefit from Title IX.

You've got a better chance at getting a constitutional amendment passed allowing Trump to run for a third term.

Seriously, people, what the hell is the point in advocating shite that will never happen in a million years?

Title IX is only a federal law. It would be fairly trivial to amend it to allow inequitable financial compensation beyond typical scholarship packages for revenue generating programs.

You literally have shite for brains if you think this would ever happen.

Just for starters, any President who signs that into law would be committing political suicide. Female registered voters outnumber men by over 8,000,000. Then throw in the fathers of daughters who benefit and don't give a shite about football.

It’s fairly low quality and low cost everywhere, bub.
The food itself can be pretty good (MSU’s seems to rise and drop and quality regularly), but the entire system is relatively low cost.

And yet it is what other students pay. Something is worth only what other people are willing to pay for it.
If you went to MState and paid the prices they asked for tuition, food, room, books etc, then you admit that it was worth the asking price. If you could have done as well or better without the education, then it is your fault for going there. You made a mistake.

Have you ever eaten in the athletic dining hall at Georgia Tech? Is the experience that bad?

Another question. If they do start revenue sharing with players, do they expect donors to continue at the same level of support? It seems like donations from hardworking fans are still needed to keep programs out of the red right?

Would donors then donate money for College scholarships to players that make more than them in a year?

Or do you just throw away the college structure and do some sort of NFL seating structure?

They are paid moron. They are on scholarship. Most college athletes get about 75K worth of benefits per year. Add it up. It's a pretty good deal.

In contrast, a minor league baseball player gets a signing bonus but then will get about 6K to play single A, 10K to play double AA. 15K to play AAA.

Ditto with basketball.

If you pay the players, it will ruin college football which IMO is the greatest most entertaining sport. There will be some left winger who will try and unionize these kids. Once that happens it is over.

Lol... the Student Athlete dining facilities are top notch. If they choose to slum in the student union bldg for cheap chow as they troll for chicks, that is a choice.

Yes, and just like in other situations. You are free to say and wear what you want. And, then, you are free to live with the consequences. Jobs, even in the public sector, can, should, and do set parameters for acceptable professional behavior and wear in the workplace.
