Do Miles' players seem to play harder than those under other coaches?

Is it just me, or do Les' squads give the impression that they simply out-hustle the other teams? LSU obviously has superior talent to go with its grit, though, so maybe I'm giving him too much credit?
IMO those under Les Miles consistently give 110% for him.
Not that I would trade him for CNS of I think that LSU can/will beat Bama... just giving credit where credit was due. For a guy who I had absolutely zero confidence that he would keep LSU at an ultra-elite level, he's certainly impressed since the rebuilding job of 2008.

I think it's just you.
They seem undisciplined to me.

GTFO with this gay shite.
yeah bro. every single player that plays for miles plays harder than any other guy under any other coach.

I'm talking about on-the-field play, not herbal incense and street thuggery.
[Not that herbal incense should be illegal, fyi]

There is no pressure. That tends to let them play over their heads. This makes them dynamic and unpredictable and at the same time letting them lay it on the line
Saban teams are like a machine, and I think maybe a little more tense for fear of making mistakes but the rub is because of this they don't make many.

I've just never seen any DJ Hall-types take the field on a Les Miles coached team.
I'd rank him in the middle of the conference if I had to rank the SEC coaches.
I just call 'em how I see 'em. Chillax.

when you've got a good team and you're in the hunt, guys play hard.
when your team sucks and guys aren't interested and striving for a goal, some guys play like shite

I think they give the random effort....
Maybe "random" isn't the best term. Perhaps, inadvertent? Yeah, that describes Miles best....

He is certainly a good motivator.

You think that they are scared of Saban chewing them out? Riiight.
The players play for fear of making mistakes because they want to be the best.

DJ Hall style player? Sweet Lord, man. A Shula kid from Saban's first year in '07? Have you seen the type of people Saban gets? Jones, Ingram, B. Jones...Hall is a terrible, I repeat, terrible example.

I think a better way to put it is that they play with more tenacity and confidence than most teams/ I just think LSU has a special group of very talented players who are all very confident in their abilities and have a chip on their shoulder; not to say Miles doesn't do a good job motivating them and putting forth full effort.

No man. I really don't think they give a shite if a coach chews their arse since that is what all coaches do anyway. Its about the different philosophies and comfort zone. It's about the faith they have in their players.
When we played Florida in 07. We went for it on fourth down 4 times and Hester made every single one and scored the winning TD on that drive. Best game I have ever witnessed, That is having faith in your players. I think both teams can play well from behind, but miles empowers his players a little more and will put the game in their hands.
The win against AU the same year. Takes alot of courage for a coach to trust his players like that. And from watching saban for 5 years when he was here, their coaching styles are a little different in that regard
Miles will give the players and coaches all the rope they can handle. Saban will not do that. He has a way he wants it done and that's it

Miles is one of a kind, no doubt. But I don't need you to tell me that.

what a bad example. DJ Hall and Saban didn't get along b/c DJ wanted things to remain how they were under "Club Shula" and wasn't willing to do the work to buy into Saban's process
There were lots of players in 2007 who didn't want to get on board with the Process, they'd been playing in a country club atmosphere and weren't willing to get with the program
I dont think any of the players Saban has brought in have ever not played hard for him. All coaches go through a bit of a cleaning house/culture change during their first year or so
