Honestly? I think Jimbo is on the downside of his career.
He could still win a national title at A&M but he just seems to have lost the fire he once had. Granted he's only 52 so he could have a lot left in the tank. But I think he's lost some pop off his fastball.
Coach O at least never had a fastball. A high hanging curveball is about it.
LSU will hang onto Coach O for a bit and then cut him loose. A&M will ride and die with Jimbo for years.

I think most realistic LSU fans fear O will win enough on talent alone that will keep the AD from letting him go. We can only hope he does very well or just quickly bombs to get this experiment over with.

The argument has been more Jimbo won't live up to his $75 million price tag not that Orgeron is a great coach. LSU fans also just like to remind A&M they haven't beaten Orgeron yet or LSU since 1995. We say these things because we know it bothers y'all.
