Do G5 teams such as Boise state and UCF really bother y’all?

For some reason, many fans of P5 powerhouse programs really get bothered by G5 teams trying to make a name for themselves. Personally it doesn’t bother me.

They don't bother me, but they aren't trying to make a name for themselves, they are looking for handouts.

Boise didn't bother me because they earned their respect by going anywhere to play anyone and kicking their arse. Beating a top 10 VT team in DC, beating a top 20 UGA team in Atlanta, beating Oregon, Oregon State, Washington on the road, winning bowl games against Oklahoma and TCU, etc... showed me that they lived by the mantra that UCF pretends to live. UCF got a sweet deal offered to them by UF and shot it down because they would rather stay in the spotlight by whining rather than run the risk of losing.

No lie. Boise did when Bama beat Texas on 09. They really tried to diminsh Bamas achievements because they had been left out. Now idgaf about them

I don’t really care but I’ll pretend to because it’s fun. I really enjoy them because if they win you can mock the P5 team that lost to them as an embarrassment, and if they lose badly you can mock them relentlessly as uppity and overrated.. It’s a win win as long as your P5 team isn’t the one playing.

I don’t really know what people want Ucf to do. They are just trying to elevate themselves.
When they beat LSU people will somehow claim they are still undeserving despite beating Auburn and LSU.

Not really, but they should be treated for what they are: G5 not P5 teams. G5 teams who play a cupcake schedule should not be chest beating regardless of record.

I think UCF is hilarious. Its added some much needed comic relief to NCAAF. People get so mad when they claim the 2017 title. And Auburn sucks.

I like to joke with UCF. Sure UCF can win a game against a SEC team once a year. Now, if they play a SEC schedule then it wouldn't be nice for them. I wouldn't be surprised if they beat LSU but I can't take UCF serious

I don't really think about them, but I do have a low tolerance for stupidity so any mention of them in the playoff triggers me.

Just the silliness of UCF calling out Alabama last year. It’s like listening to a teenager tell you why Communism is better than Capitalism. You just roll your eyes and suffer through it .

Boise? No. They legitimately tried to schedule people to get into BCS bowls.
