Do Clemson fans want in the SEC?

I understand the cultural fit, since only three other ACC schools are really football first. If I were them I'd want to stay though: easier path to the playoff, other ACC programs on the rise and ditching that many decades of tradition would be a hard sell (imo). Also there would be four schools in the SEC with the Tigers moniker. Maybe Auburn could be convinced to switch to War Eagles?

Clemson would be stupid to join the SEC; they've got it made in the shade in the ACC.

Why in the world would they want in? They have a clear cut, freshly asphalted path to the playoffs every year for the foreseeable future.

We're just like the rest of the SEC, we play the one good team from the conference. We just play them in the playoffs

They have to be tired of never having a big game during the regular season. Can you imagine going 12 games without having a game against a ranked team? Would suck

No interest, we're happy making the SEC our bitch 2x in the regular season and then again in the playoff. This year will be no different. We're going to beat UofSC by 60 and then either LSU, Georgia, or Bama by 30 in the semi-final. If the SEC wants an elite program like Clemson they're going to have to develop it themselves.

Sec teams don't play tough games week in and week out. Vandy, Arkansas, ole Miss, miss st, Missouri, Kentucky, UofSC, and Tennessee all suck arse. They're awful. That is over half the teams in the conference, so there is literally no way you play tough games week in and week out.
We beat the "greatest team of all time" last year by 28, there is no delusion here. We were the best team last year, we're the best team this year, we'll be the best team next year, and that's just how it's going to be for a while.

The school doesn't want in the SEC but it kills the fans that they can't brag that they are in the best confrence in America.

No. We’re a founding member. I really just wish the other football teams were good. The other schools in the league are great schools to be associated with, the variety of locations make for some fun road trips and obviously basketball season is interesting.
