Probably not. If we still had Ro I could see it happening.

Please name the colt players from last year that would have started for Bama in 2010 or 2011. The list would be very short.

Nope

The ones who say it don't really think it to be true. It is just some cute bullshite they heard somewhere and they parrot it

It has been said of other CFB teams and it is usually hyperbole until some itdiot starts repeating it without really thinking it through.

I looked at their roster and I'm going with these guys (No it isn't their entire team, just most of it)

63 Saturday, Jeff C 295 13
61 Richard, Jamey OG 295 4
76 Reitz, Joe OG 320 1
71 Diem, Ryan OG 320 11
79 Ijalana, Ben OT 317 R

5 Collins, Kerry QB 247 17
or
7 Painter, Curtis QB 230 3

29 Addai, Joseph RB 214 6
31 Brown, Donald RB 210 3

44 Clark, Dallas TE 252 9
84 Tamme, Jacob TE 236 4
81 Eldridge, Brody TE 265 2
47 McNeill, Mike TE 235 R

11 Gonzalez, Anthony WR 193 5
15 White, Blair WR 205 2
17 Collie, Austin WR 200 3
85 Garcon, Pierre WR 210 4
87 Wayne, Reggie WR 198 11

DEFENSE
41 Bethea, Antoine FS 203 6
33 Bullitt, Melvin S 201 5
35 Lefeged, Joe S 205 R

46 Johnson, Terrence CB 190 1
25 Powers, Jerraud CB 192 3
3 Rucker, Chris CB 195 R
28 Thomas, Kevin CB 192 2

90 Anderson, Jamaal DE 289 5
75 Brayton, Tyler DE 280 9
93 Freeney, Dwight DE 268 10
98 Mathis, Robert DE 245 9
92 Hughes, Jerry DE 255 2

94 Nevis, Drake UT 294 R
95 Moala, Fili NT 303 3
99 Johnson, Antonio NT 310 5
68 Foster, Eric UT 265 4

51 Angerer, Pat LB 235 2
58 Brackett, Gary LB 235 9
53 Conner, Kavell LB 242 2

These guys are NFL players, they are so much bigger and stronger, I don't think you realize this. These guys may not have been as good as some Bama guys in college, but they are older, bigger, faster, stronger, more experienced.
You honestly think almost EVERY player on Bama's team is going to make a 53 man NFL roster

Alabama would dominate the Packers, Patriots, and Giants.

I'm not so sure. Bama's kicking game is suspect. That could cost them against a good NFL team.

Bama could probably beat the Dolphins with King Herp Derp at QB. Right now Bama has better DBs than Dolphins have WRs.

If Alabama could beat the Miami Dolphins then Daniel Tosh's head would implode.. His hate for Saban leaving the Dolphins has been funny..

With that said.. I really haven't seen any Alabama fan believe they could beat a NFL team. I think there are some out there, but the majority are smarter then that.

Jeff Saturday is the only O-lineman that could have started at Bama last year, because Vlachos was just not that good.. Non would start for the 2012 team. All of Bama's offensive lineman will also be starters in the NFL.

Trent Richardson laughs at Addai and Brown

Painter nor Collins would start over McCarron. At best it would be a push.

Michael William would start at TE, but Clark and Tamme would start over smelly at H-back

Bethea would start over Lester, but definitely not over Barron. Non of their CBs start over Kirkpatrick or Millner. Powers could have played in the Nickel.

Freeney and Mathis both start at DE they have nothing at DT. Chapman will start for the Colts when he is healthy especially with them switching to the 3-4 this year.
Bama's LB group dominates the colts.

The only clear talent edge they have is at WR.

Try again.

That Colt team sucks.

You do know the colts have the worst offensive line in the NFL. They have been at the bottom of the leauge for atleast the last 3 or 4 years straight.

I have no idea why you think addai or Brown would have started over trent. That baffles me.

Brackett is the only Lb they have that could have cracked th two deep at Bama and he would not have started.

They have about 6 to 7 out of 22 that would have started at Bama the last couple of years.

Bama couldn't beat the Colts practice squad. They're fricking professional athletes, you're an idiot.

The line is in the NFL, they aren't "going" to be in the NFL like Bama guys. They've had years of experience, conditioning, strength training, IN THE NFL. Same goes for the RB's, LB's, ect... No I don't think Addai and Martin are better than Richardson now that Richardson has been training and bulking up for the NFL, but they were better last year.

Going by your thought Process Andrew Luck is a better QB right now than pretty much every QB in the NFL because he was better in college...

LOL Trent Richardson was NFL ready at 18 LOL. I guess he magically surpassed Brown and Addai in 1 offseason between college and the NFL.

Luck is better than half of the starting QBs in the NFL and was last year as well what are you talking about? There are a ton of shitty players in the NFL.

Those are two of the best skill position players in college football. the o line and d line would get dominated. again you're retarded.

If you didn't notice Bama has alot of the best players in college football. No team in the NFL would dominate the Bama's front 7 from 2011. Most teams would do well against it. The colts are not one of those teams.

I'm telling you just play the game. They could call it the "Soon to be Pro Bowl." Realistically there are a few guys in college that play at or close to an NFL quality level. If this were not true you wouldn't have guys go in the 1st round and start after only a few months of NFL offseason training. Granted few of these guys look perfect, but many will catch on as the season progresses as they learn.
The difference is that top to bottom an NFL team should be superior compared to a college team that has a few big fish on it. I feel like the NCAA champion could maybe hang with the worst NFL team, but it would be a lot like watching an inspired WKU coming in and playing tough versus LSU last year.
