I guess the 2001 Hurricanes wouldn't have stood a chance as well. There are plenty of college teams that have been loaded with NFL talent that would have beaten the colts last year.

No they couldn't have because the 2001 Hurricanes almost lost to college teams in 2001. You have to realize that CFb is full of kids who train 20 hrs a week an the nfl is grown arse men who train professionally ALL DAY LONG. you're an idiot.

The very best team might have, what, 6 or 8 guys that would start for an NFL team...that season. The worst pro club has 22 of those guys and another 22 just about as good.

They didn't have any talent. They had about 6 to 7 players tops that would have started at Bama.

Holy frick. You think a nfl team has 6 players that would start on Bama's team? You are beyond ignorant.

I use that word because that's how different the NFL and College are. Dude that colts team is just stronger and faster and smarter. Bama might have had SOME NFL ready guys but all of the Colts have been there and done that. It would be a slaughter. No college team could beat an NFL team in today's game. That's just the facts.

This is what he doesn't understand. Everyone of the Colt's players are nfl ready, while Bama may have 5 players that can start from day one in the nfl. The colts 2nd team wouldve curbed stomped Bama last year. GSU ran all over Bama but a NFL team couldn't ?

Right. He keeps saying that last year's Colts were low on talent. Which they were, COMPARED TO NFL STANDARDS, not CFb. The Colts' backups would start at Bama.

Players are peak athletically way before they make it to the NFL. The bigger stonger faster, argument is pointless. It does have some validity when it comes to lineman, but those are the colts weakness and Bama's strength. There is very little to no difference between being 22 and 25.

Wrong. There is a huge difference between a huge 22 yr old who workout 20 hrs a week and a 28 yr old who has been in a NFL conditioning program for 6-7 yrs. I guess you've never heard someone say "grown man strength"? That what they re talking about.

Right, and then there is simple physiology that I think is correct. One of the changes a young man's body goes through is the hardening of the bones that help increase muscle strength and mass. I think this peaks at around 25 and is maintained through early/mid 30's. A 20 year old 'freak' is nothing compared toa a 25 year old 'freak'. Perhaps there is someone versed in A&P that confirm this though.

Even the best college teams have guys that will never take a single snap in the NFL, who in their right mind would make this into a serious debate?

No college team could field against an NFL team. The results would be horrible. 75-0
