A little too much from both sides, IMO. A little too touchy (no need to touch him at all) and a little too much reaction.
No, it was all on Sark. Every bowl game has people like that who hold back teams before introductions. Sark was a fricking drunk moron who probably didn’t want the nation to see his boner when another man touched him.

Why is the first page nothing but Alabama fans trying to defend Sark acting like a complete a-hole?

Pos alcoholic that has already got way more chances than he deserves, that is something you don’t see elite coaches do.

And it worked out appropriately for him didn’t it

Sark strikes me as the kind of guy that just lets things build up over months and months and then he boils over and takes it out on the drive thru window guy at Taco Bell.

Strikes me as the type of guy that leaves his shopping cart out by the road where he parks his BMW so it doesn’t get dinged, then berates the waitress that brought his Diet Coke out with too much ice at Applebees.

My philosophy is you always treat people with respect, from the CEO to the janitor unless they do something intense to lose that respect. Sark is a loser. He probably always will be.

I get that Sark overreacted, but that video struck me as odd behavior from the guy continuing to push him back like that…
so I can at least understand the response to a degree

Well bama fans defended a guy hitting a little girl in the face this year so it’s nothing new

When Sark walked up, he kinda nodded like he understood he wasn’t supposed to just run out on the field. If the tunnel guy wanted to emphasize keeping the players back, he could have maybe held his arm out straight. Nobody was moving forward.

Major overreaction by Sark, but the tunnel guy’s touching was a little weird too.

That's what I'm leaning towards here — that he was (exaggeratedly) fired up right before taking the field, and somehow thought that "being a badass" energy would transfer to the players. Similar to a basketball coach getting t'd up to amp up his team.

I don't think it worked.

I think antics like that just drain energy out of a team and brings an awkward vibe right before the game.

Sark should've whipped his arse when he started pushing Hook'em

Sark should have wiped a booger on him.
