As AU fans, we need to make up our minds. Since Saban got to Bama, a majority of our fan base has frowned upon his dictator style of running Bama's program while embracing Chizik's All In family mantra. Well, Saban has two national titles with a 10-win season sandwiched in between while Chiz has a national title with a superfreak at QB and a pair of 8-5 seasons sandwiched around it. Both are recruiting extremely well.
So what do we want? As for me, I don't care as long as we're winning football games at a high rate. We are a year older in terms of experience and while it may not be all that experienced, we have the most depth we've had since Chiz has been here. It's time for us to quit going 7-5 in the regular season. If we can't do any better than that in Chiz' fourth year, I won't be too confident in the direction he has the program headed. And having all these off-the-field issues won't help.

Is it ok to say that if Tubbeville wouldn't have left the cupboard so bare his last 2 years we wouldn't be having these problems today?

The "All In Family" mantra BS had a hole the size of a Cadillac blown in it when Luper's son had to commit to Texas A&M when he didn't have a committable offer from AU, that is a kid who already IS family of staff and they sent him packing and told him to look elsewhere

I've never embraced this Family mantra bullshite. We have 2 distinct examples in this state of differing coaching styles. At Bama you have 1 guy clearly in charge that players know that if they get in his doghouse they are fricked. At AU we have a whole athletic dept selling this family, best friend, buddy buddy bullshite.
These kids don't fear Chizik, or maybe some do, but I'm not seeing it. Pike was easy to get rid of, but what is he going to do about this?? It may be just a PI, but he needs to make an example out of RD, because this little shite is adding up and it's getting ridiculous.

I think another question needs to be asked is why are these kids not on a curfew a week before the first game.We need to ramp up a strict drug and alcohol policy with frequent random testing.

You have no idea if this is true. If you're going to say this, you're basically calling Luper's son a liar since he was quoted as saying he wanted to go back to Texas all along to play his college ball. You don't believe that?

I'm much further ahead sir Bama had a DL coach who had a son who we offered a scholly and signed as a VERY undersized LB and he will be a starting S for us this yr

Chizik needs to stop with the buddy-buddy shite and start acting like a head coach before Auburn turns into UGA 2.0. These kids need structure and discipline in their lives. They're in college, they've got enough friends...
