I can't take anyone seriously that uses "men-children" in their writing.

the coaching staff can't monitor their players 24/7.
One of the major frick-ups of the NCAA was the abolition of the various sports dorms several years ago. Sure, the interwebz was nonexistent back then and there was less trouble out there (

The sports dorms issue should be revisited pronto, IMO.

That's the thing about blogs...there is no accountability. If he submitted that shite to a real magazine it would never made it to a printer.

shite! I've just made to TD for the first time in a day and a half.
I haven't read this thread.
WTH is going on with some of the AU players?
Chizik better put their asses on lock-down, permanently!
Make the whole team suffer for the stupidity of a few.

Auburn isn't the only school with these problems, but they have more than their fair share, it seems. I think the problem is at all levels: parents, recruitment and coaching once on campus. These kids are usually treated differently in high school. Many of them are courted by several universities and followed online by recruiting services like they're rock stars. They start thinking they don't have to follow the rules. The bottom line is that the coaches who bring them to campus are now responsible. If they can't get their attention, they need to let them go. That's not harsh. The coaches are paid to win. These arrests aren't winning behavior. My husband played football for Coach Bryant. (Yes, I'm old.) I know what tough discipline looked like then, and Coach Saban has brought a lot of it back. Lax discipline shows up on the field. For verification of that, see the Shula years.

Dismukes has been suspended as reported just a bit ago.

Has it been determined what he actually did yet?

The guy at the airport was right.
What's scary is that we allow men like this blogger to walk around freely. I sincerely hope this guy doesn't have kids, or if he does, the mother divorces him and keeps the child as far away as possible.

That is a Bama blog that is terrible. Guy has zero cred and was a major part of ATPB.

Probably a don't ask don't tell thing. If it's just rumor and speculation on the internet then why would the coaches ask Dyer if its a fact and put themselves in a situation where they have to do something about it?
Oh, I don't know, maybe to help the kid before its to late, or they actually care about his future, or to keep a handle on thuggery like loaning guns to teammates to rob students with, team discipline in general which is what everyone is concerned about in this thread it seems.
Or just don't ask about anything and just look the other way until someone gets robbed, gets a public intox, failed drug tests that lead to suspensions, players bashing out other students brains (Eric Smith) ect. ect.

Is it ok to say that if Tubbeville wouldn't have left the cupboard so bare his last 2 years we wouldn't be having these problems today?
Since Saban inherited Chris frigging Capps as a returning starter on the OL, no, it isn't OK. The statute of limitations on blaming Tuberville ends at the end of year 2. Chizik should have done a helluva lot better last year with three recruiting classes under his belt.
Auburn was outscored by their opponents last year, and it was the first time in 40 years that happened to the defending national champions.

I guess I had zero cred after I broke the news that your associate AD for compliance had sanctions levied against him by the NCAA. Paul Parker eventually quit AU.
I guess I had zero cred after I broke the news that Guz Malzahn was headed to Arkansas State.
And would you like to guess who first published the news that Reese Dismukes had been arrested?
I had a couple dozen posts on ATPB. That was high entertainment, wasn't it?
Thanks for reading.
