Felony 4, dyer,Benton, pike and dismukes. All dealt with correctly.

From the moment Dyer stepped on campus their we're rumblings he had attitude problems. Many Auburn fans pushed it aside. The story of it being his gun used in the robbery by the other 4 was out there right after the crime occurred. I'm pretty sure the AU coaches knew about it. I don't recall dyer ever sitting until he was suspended for a meaningless bowl game. I have no idea if he handled Dyer right or not since that is strictly someone's opinion, but there is plenty of evidence to argue both sides.

I could drink a case by tonight. Doubt a 300 lb center would have a problem downing a case by Monday. Make it a keg.

You don't suspend players for bad attitudes. He made iMac the starter and not dyer due to that. Also, the whole gun thing is unproved. Nobody here knows.

All chizik was required to do was suspend dyer for the bowl game but he removed him from the team and said he could earn his way back on the roster if he wanted to do so. I believe he gave him the correct amount of rope without going too far. I can't think of a different way to handle it.

Dyer wasnt suspended until the bowl game but there were a few games in the regular season he rode the bench and didnt see the field until the second quarter

Yes I did.

And he probably is. Not that there's anything wrong with it.

Chizik's handling of Dyer sent a poor message to the rest of the team. Dyer should have been booted last year but he got away with pretty much whatever he wanted bc Chizik needed him to play.

It doesn't help that Trooper Taylor acts like he's an 18 yr old himself around those kids.

Totally agree w/ the first point. Knowing what we know now, Dyer could've been suspended/booted a lot earlier. I think Chizik used Dyer to ensure a winning season.

As for the Trooper comment... sigh

Dismukes is a true sophmore. Pike was a true freshman. Where is the senior leadership??

i dont think you guys actually have any seniors. the fabled fountain of youth bubbles up from underneath the auburn athletic complex, keeping the team forever young. Ponce de Leon would be pissed to learn he was looking in the wrong state
