Or the Pell Grant/Student Loans he could have gotten that didn't have to be used for tutition/room/board/etc. when he received a full ride.
People don't seem to realize that a car is cheap compared to a college education.
I was not aware that you could get a Pell Grant for going to NJHS and please save me the crap about his parents had the money saved up for his college years. Nothing about Chris Keys, much like another college player that will go unnamed, screams college material.

So if UA & AU both get the Death Penalty then we could just play 10 Iron Bowls a year until the sanctions are over with right?
And if the whole SEC gets sanctioned they could just break off and form an NFL farm league, i.e. NFL Europe, but 10x better.

Albert Means wasn't that good either.

Both schools and towns would be razed by week 4.

No he didn't get a Pell Grant for high School, but the "look at what the kid is driving" bullshite is lame. Pell Grants & Student Loans would easuily cover a car payment for any college athlete getting a full ride.

As was Keys...hence the LSU offer and why Bama paid for him...

Yeah 10 games wouldn't work either, would have to be an odd number like best of 7 or something.

Hell, I say we do this regardless of what the NCAA does.

Maybe his offer was pulled

It's basically what the SEC is. They might as well tell the NCAA to FO.

Yeah Keys was a top 10 safety prospect coming out of high school.

Do you find it a little odd that HBO is describing Keys as a "Former LSU recruit and Alabama player"? How many scholarship offers did Keys have? Why even mention LSU when he didn't go there?

thats what some people have suggested, idk, im sure LSU had a stacked class that year so it would be hard to imagine saban would reach on a guy like that, but i only have to look to this years alabama signee Lamichael Fanning to refute that notion

is it really cheating if everyone else is doing it? Uncle Milty is just a visionary.
