Trooper Taylor's antics were bad for the SEC's image. Wasn't he giving Fairley a high 5 after the fight?
no, he was trying to get Fairley's attention and get him off the field. He was shoving him towards the sideline and yelling at him.

To be fair to Taylor, it looked like he was trying to get Fairly back to the sideline, and Fairly stupidly thought he was giving him a high five.
THIS. he was trying to get Fairley under control then Fairley pulled a high 5

Which just reinforces my opinion of Fairley.

Then you have that horse's behind Trooper Taylor running out on the field looking like someone forgot to pay for their carwash.

It wouldn't have surprised me if Fairley had put a WWE diamond cutter on Murray and Ziemba had ran out on the field with a folding metal chair while Chizik was distracting the refs.

I would have paid money to see that lol.

I've yet to see anyone other than an AU poster mention anything about UGA playing rough and dirty and in some cases instigating the incidents.
That's because UGA isn't 11-0 and ruining everyone else on this boards season. It was both ways all game and both teams are to blame.

SEC needs to step in and sit Fairley for the rest of the year, including SECCG and BCS.
They need to put a stop to this kind of thuggery.

How can they sit him if the officials are allowing it on the field of play? Fairly has had a good number of questionable/over the line hits this season, but the officials haven't flagged him for it. IIRC Saturday was his first, or at most second flag for late hit/roughing the passer.
Yes I know the NFL can go back and fine/suspend players for actions that weren't called on the field, but I disagree with that policy.
If the legue wants to cut down on hits like that, have the officials be more vigilant and throw the flag. It is hard to tell a kid he did something wrong if the zebras don't flag him for it.

Cannot disagree too much with that.

This isn't the NFL, it's still football. You can drive a QB into the ground if you get to him in time. Aside from the one horribly late hit that the ref did flag he didn't do anything wrong.

You keep thinking that.

I don't "think" anything. It's not against the rules in college football to drive a QB into the ground. You'll get no argument about the spear to the back that was dirty and one of the worst late hits I've seen. Anything else is just sour grapes whining.

There is no benefit of the doubt on this play.

Not really. AJ was flagged last year for looking at the stands. This year where has that flag been? People posing, gesturing, calling attention to themselves after touchdowns, yet not a flag in sight. Just because a referee who does this in his spare time does or doesn't throw a flag doesn't make the action itself any more allowable.
And I mean shite, it's not like we're talking about some complicated formations or anything, this is COMMON SENSE that people over the age of 8 learn from their parents. How in the world could he think lowering his head, leading with the crown of his helmet, and spearing a QB a good 2 seconds after the pass was throw is ok behavior? He's a dumbfrick who needs to be suspended.

Has there been a gif put together or a vid I can watch these hits by Fairley? Tailgating got the best of me and I wasn't able to be by the TV.
