Are you dipshits even looking at the video? He is putting his helmet on the ball. The hit is nowhere close to his knee. It looks awkward because tua wasn't moving well due to that knee injury none of yall want to acknowledge.
:Yeah ok gif:

Used his helmet as a weapon. Clearly lines up and launches with helmet crown.

He tried to wrap the thighs and put his helmet through the ball. That is textbook form; Tua jumping back made it look iffy, but it wasn't AT ALL.
Quite a lot of band geeks in this thread acting like they have played football before.
From day one, you are taught to look at a player's belt and thighs when you're making a tackle (especially against someone that's gonna try to put the shakes to you). You look at their head/chest/ball you're gonna whiff. You look at their feet, you're gonna whiff.
The hips don't lie.

The dude was going for his knee, it's fine. It's football. Just don't call us cheaters.

His head quite literally hit the ball which Tua had in his gut.

After that play the team should have made sure that player would have been taken off the field on a stretcher. You go after one of our we get one of yours.

Y'all are actually retarded aren't you?
I've never had much malice for the Bama fanbase but I can see where the stereotype comes from. Collective IQ has to be hovering around the absolute bottom of the league.

When it comes to how to inseminate a cow... I'll bow down to you or Auburn. When it comes to Football .. step back child.

This post would have 1000 upvotes if it was Joe Burrow

Sweet counter to my argument. You have absolutely nothing to say that would validate your fairy tale targeting accusation, so you jump to the same insults you had engraved in your brain as a child from your drunk dad hollering them incessantly at the 17" tube three feet away from you trying to sleep in your crib in the kitchen.

Let me rephrase that--its not even really that dirty. If the Mississippi State play was aiming for his knee (which is only speculation by a couple of Alabama fans) then it is slightly nefarious, but "dirty" implies that someone went outside of what is considered normal in order to hurt someone.
Twisting a knee at the bottom of the pile: dirty
Head-slapping opposing defensive ends (aka what Cyrus Kouandijo did the whole 2013 season): dirty
Hitting someone's hurt knee in a totally legitimate football play: slightly nefarious if intentional but also very very common throughout the history of football.

Auburn knows the result of the Auburn vs Bama game already our AIM is to keep the SECCG interesting. Weak knees noted will pass to players.

That's why he hit him in the thigh. Above the knee...
