Yes, I know, it's old news

However, this was LSU's one chance to have a top 10 finish. They will likely never have this opportunity again.

It was their ONE CHANCE. They stole Aggy's athletic director, won the playoffs in football and were surely going to win both the NCAA Tournament and the CWS. Alas, it will now never happen as they will once again never achieve what schools like Florida and Texas A&M have achieved multiple times...top 10 finishes in the standard that measures how well an athletic department does overall.

One time? You do realize LSU has finished Top 10 multiple times in the past for the Director's Cup, right?

I'm more interested in these types of top 10 finishes personally.

In the time since I’ve read this post, LSU scored again on that trash Aggie defense.

It takes time to distract people from a lack of recognized accomplishment.

Not since 2009.

The directors cup has been in existence since 1993-1994. Stanford has won it every year except the first year.

Top Ten finishes by SEC School:

Florida - Every year (1994-2019)
Georgia - 1998, 1999, 2001, 2002, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2008, 2013, 2018
Texas A&M - 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2018
LSU - 1997, 1998, 2000, 2002, 2008, 2009
Tennessee - 2005, 2007
Kentucky - 2017

Unfortunate but certainly understandable.
I’m convinced all of our SEC athletes will be back better and stronger next year.
What a time in which we’re living, huh?

OP:

Then doubles down

quote:

It was their ONE CHANCE.

Then comes back with:

quote:

Not since 2009

quote:

LSU - 1997, 1998, 2000, 2002, 2008, 2009

OP, are you legitimately retarded or do you just act that way?

Was that before or after he said LSU had never finished in the top 10?

I remember a time when the Aggies used to bring up how they have a Heisman winner and a 2nd place tie for the West as better accomplishments than LSU football. I wonder what happened.
