Bama Offensive Line > A&M Defensive line.

Ags need much better line play on defense. We knew this coming in to the SEC and our recruiting has focused on this area.

Bama ran the ball well and the O-line game AJ plenty of time to throw. AJ took full advantage, threw it well and hit receivers in stride. Ags needed to put at least some pressure on him to at least make him throw on the move more.

Well done Bama. Ags are getting closer but just not quite there with the athletes on the defensive line of scrimmage.

Better team won for sure. Congrats to Bama.

True story.
I said it one of many pre-game prediction threads: Our defense is a year away. Maybe two.
Indeed, the better, more complete team won yesterday.

Beer Bryant,

This look familiar...

You Aggies are delusional. A&M scored 16 points TOTAL against Bama, LSU & UF in the 2nd half last year.

I thought Ags would score 44. Guess I was wrong.

But... JFF is with us. Not sure you are aware but almost every prediction about the game over the last month or so included JFF playing. Wait.. that would be 100% of the predictions.

You can "what if" all day long about what would happen if someone wasn't on the team. What is AJ wasn't on Bama team? What if TJ had fumbled 3 times? What if Evans hadn't pushed off?

Pointless to "what if".

They weren't within 3 touchdowns for much of that game then Johnny Godziel went superman on our arse.

Alabama won despite surrendering 628 yards, the most ever by a Crimson Tide defense.

AND he's the difference between beating/barely losing or getting whipped by Bama

How is that hard to understand?

It will take a few recruiting cycles to beef up the LOS like aTm will need

Weird that they decided to let up SO much that they would give up a record # of yards. Very nice of them.

Don't tarnish your fan base's great demeanor this weekend pre and post game by being you.

You can say the same thing about Evans. Even if their defense is better next year, if Manziel, Evans, and Matthews are all gone, aTm will be back to the middle of the SEC pack.

No, you just are missing the point of the "what ifs". The what if kicks in next year if you lose those three. Even with an improved defense, get ready for 8-4 to be the norm.

Disagree. Kenny Hill, and the best QB recruit in the country are on deck next year, and not worried at all about WR or RB. Our WR's with the exception of Evans will be back and have a year of experience, and we have talent across the roster on offense. Scheme won't be a problem either.

Now defense... we will be better at DT, but will still be young as hell at the ends. LB will be better if Baggs doesn't every play another down. Safety will be better because Honeycutt won't be out there. CB will be fine

A&M is a 8-10 win team next year without JFF, and a contender the year after that.

Even if Evans is gone, we still return Malcome Kennedy (who scored 3 TD on you) and Ricky Seals-Jones (bigger than Evans)
