It’ll sure hinder her ability to win an Olympic medal in the short term though. If she’d just had a drink instead, she’d still be on the team.
Yes, it’s a stupid rule, and she was stupid to break it.

It really isn't any different than alcohol.
It’s actually way safer and healthier. Look at a 15 year long alcoholic and a 15 year long pot head

The fact that it's perfectly fine to get shithoused drunk but then get disqualified from the Olympics because you smoked or ate weed is absolute horseshite. It's nonsensical, and idiotic. Anyone who is blaming her rather than the dumbfrick governmental stigma around weed is being willingly dumb.

Yep. I said it in another thread, it's ridiculous it's scheduled ad no medical value, yet a majority of the states have medical programs. DC cares about themselves and fricking us over before common sense

I’d rather hangout with an alcoholic than a pothead, for a variety of reasons. Don’t bitch and moan after the fact just because the rules aren’t something that aligns with your interests.

The crazy part is, DC HAS LEGAL WEED. ITS A JOKE.

You obviously weren’t raised by alcoholics.

This isn't a governmental thing, is it? Isn't it WADA or the IOC?

Right. I’d much prefer *watching documentaries with potheads than the drama of alcoholics.

Everyone has a preference and I get that, but saying you dont wanna hang out with people who smoke pot just shows how small minded you are. Alcohol should have killed my grandfather and will likely kill my father. Hopefully one day people will wake up.

It's still illegal in almost all countries including Japan. Most of the world does not share our newish liberal views on smoking dope. This is the largest worldwide event on the largest stage and that has to be taken in to consideration.

I didn’t say that. I’m sorry. Alcohol has wrecked much of my family as well.

I was referring to the Tennessee poster above

And you can thank the paper, plastic, and medicinal industries for that. WAKE. UP.
You people HATE big pharma for what they have done for 40 years but think they are right about weed???

Did she break a rule that she was aware of, or not?
It’s kind of hard to preach personal accountability then cry foul when someone is made personally accountable.
Do you guys ever apply this shitty logic to other laws?
Do you think Rosa Parks should have spent more time in jail, since she broke a rule/law?
Do you think slaves who managed to escape should have been sent back to be killed since they broke the rules?
People in countries like Iran/Saudi Arabia, I guess when they kill people for stupid religious reasons, it's the person who's killed that is at fault because they know the rules.
And if people lived the way many of you are claiming in this thread, your shite would still belong to the queen.
This country was founded by people who said frick stupid laws and rules, what matters is right and wrong.
So stop being a pussy, stop blaming the people who get caught up in bad laws, and stand up for right and wrong. That's the American way...or use to be.

You think freedom of choice is a liberal view?
This is what's wrong with this country. It's having the government decide for the people rather than allowing them to make their own decisions that is the liberal view.
Freedom to be gay isn't a liberal view. Forcing people to bake a cake for their wedding is.
Learn the difference.

Put it in words they can understand.
Do you think people should be fined for not wearing a mask?
No.
Do you think people should lose jobs over vaccinations?
No.
If you feel the same way then you should hate marijuana laws in our country.

Legalizing a drug that's still a crime in 90% of the rest of the world is quite a liberal viewpoint.
