First off Bama is is one of the few schools that will have LSU's back in this whole ordeal....notice how LSU isnt going on about Bediako publicly. It would be hilarious if they did though. Itd be pretty on brand for LSU making bad decisions

In college basketball there are loads of former pro players playing cbb. I could be mistaken...but I thought that there were already some former pros playing on SEC teams, hence why Oats did this. The distinction is the NBA vs some overseas pro organization. Oats had a legitimate gripe about that even though playing Bediako was very unwise.

There are no former pro football players playing CFB. This is the big difference.

Also the rule that EVERY school agreed to...to not play former NBA and NFL players was passed AFTER Bediako. LSU was pursuing all of this at the same time they were voting with the other schools to ban these players. I dont expect any SECrant LSU posters to understand this, because frankly most of yall are legitimately kinda dumb

Did what retard? They have done nothing. The players have not signed or been rostered. Bama played this guy for five games then they lost in court so he got booted. LSU has done nothing. They have filed no suit, rostered no player. So they did what, please explain?

The rule was created after LSU intended to roster Wright and Harris. LSU did not roster Wright or Harris after hearing the new rule

Which is why there has to be more going on here than meets the public eye. It seems LSU has pissed off a lot of other conference schools behind closed doors. Is that due to Kiffin being Kiffin and Wade being Wade? I don't know, but even LSU fans have to admit that it isn't much of a stretch to imagine it.
