Not trying to start anything, but when people criticize predictions I am always curious how/where they disagree.

Without going through all of the percentages, what records do you see for the teams?

I’m not saying that LSU will lose to Alabama or FSU, just that they have the highest chance to lose those games.

If you take 8 spinning wheels, where 75% of the circle is red and 25% is blue, it is more likely for each of them to be red on an individual basis, but based on the rules of probability there should be 6 reds and 2 blues.

You get that by just adding up the percentages.

.75 + .75 + .75 +.75 +.75 +.75 = 6

Same thing applies to football.

In LSU’s case for SEC games:

.79 + .85 + .76 + .86 + .88 + .42 + .85 + .81 = 6.22 SEC wins

So even though I have them favored in every SEC game but one, my probability says there’s a good chance they drop 2 SEC games.
