Not in the SEC.
Hah, you would be wearing your Reds colors if they had won anything in the last couple decades. The Great American Ballpark is a short 90 minute drive from Lexington.
Edit: typo

Frankly, I always wanted Mizzou in the SEC - but in the SEC West.
At first, I didn't want A&M because I thought Texas would use them as a lead into the SEC. Nothing really against A&M - I just DID NOT want Texas.
Well we certainly love Texas and wish so much they would join us in the SEC.

No, I am a Cub fan.

Who cares…Cliff Hagen and the Party Deck is less then 2 miles from my house. I am always out there with Grits and Bho….majority of posters on this site attend many games.
Y'all still don't get it…that is why some feel you are not a fit to the SEC.
SEC Baseball is HUGE….y'all want to brag about Cardinal Baseball over Mizzou….
Ask a Arkie, LSU, USC, Kentucky, aTm…they will brag on their schools baseball program…

No, absolutely not. I wanted Mizzou and A&M. My first choice would have been A&M and NC State naturally, but I was more than fine with Mizzou. WVA would not have been a good fit at all.
+1

WVU lost to kansas in football, and just got beat handedly in basketball by Mizzou. Not long ago many thought WVU was the better choice than Mizzou.
So one year makes a program now?
FWIW, I didn't see many that wanted either so I'm not sure why you're really pushing this other than you've had a more successful year than WVU this year. WVU fans are awful and no one wants to travel to Morgantown. Most of the expansion discussion here centered around schools in Virginia, North Carolina, with the occasional Clemson or Georgia Tech mentioned. Same with a few Texas schools because of the footprint expansion.

Because it came down to MU or WVU.. those were the final two in consideration for the final spot after A&M got in.

No, but it is telling. There was a lot of trash thrown between WVU and MU fans during the selection process. One team is in the SECCG while the other lost to kansas. And head to head the one in the SECCG just manhandled the other in basketball.
There were incredibly obvious reasons why Mizzou was the stronger choice, which is why the smart people at the SEC chose Mizzou.

they HAVE BEEN TO A FINAL 4.

No doubt. Also, wvu has a better football and basketball history than Missouri.
Not to mention a more rabid fan base. No pro teams in WV, all Mountaineers

LOL, I already said I agree. I've said I agree many times in other threads, too. Missouri is a professional sports state. Most SEC states don't even have a professional sports team, and the ones that do don't have successful teams. So, you latch on to the amateur sports teams.

But GAB is 90 minutes away?

I got what you were saying.
Oh, I will challenge your fellow Mizzou brother…
He is welcome to join me at 10 am for the swim workout that I do 6 days/week. I swim with my daughters team…I do a good job hanging with her group well enough to complete over 3-4500 meter workouts. So, fat is not a good description…but Ill give him bitter

Entertainment value of this board would drop tremendously.

WVU is terrible and getting exposed for the frauds they were playing in the Big Least all those years.
