Players that I think had career performances

Joe Burrow
Devin White
Trayveon Williams
Kellen Mond
Kendrick Rodgers

It really was a game that will go down in the history books at an all-time great. It was very much a defensive battle until the OTs came around. Apparently all either of our teams do is run the 2-minute huddle and red-zone drills.

The one part I dislike about CFB overtime is that as it wears on the defenses simply cannot keep up. I think we need to adopt a more NFL-like model, or require teams to go for 2 from the very beginning.

7OT's is far beyond what any S&C program can help athletes persevere through.

The issue I have with the coaching was in the 4th overtime. A&M kicked a field goal in the first possession and LSU hit Moreau for 15+ yards on the first play. I wanted LSU to take 3 shots at the endzone and bet that your receivers will win 1 of 3 of the plays. Then the game is over, and if you came up just short of the endzone on one you still get a first down.

This 100%. You definitely would have gotten the touchdown too. Our DB's weren't going to stop it.

It should be a natural rivalry. We no longer have a rival now that Tulane's not on the schedule and you lost all your old SWC rivals, most notably Texas. So why not Texas A&M/ LSU (no nickname yet; trying to find cultural ties other than the fact the two states were once both part of the CSA).
