Basically by nursing 14-21 point leads instead of 3 he won't lose games when 3rd and Chavis gives up a couple TDs in the last two minutes

did you miss the part that despite a 14 point lead, he still managed to give it up in 3 minutes?

"WELL OUR BADASS DEFENSED FORCED THOSE TURNOVERS"

Turnover 1: Myles Garrett rips the ball away from Joshua Dobbs as he attempts to pass. Recovered by Zaycovan Henderson

Turnover 2: Armani Watts runs down Alvin Kamara, rips the ball out at the A&M 5 and recovers at the A&M 4.

Turnover 3: Cullen Gillispea crushes the kickoff returner causing a fumble which Clifford Chattman recovers.

Turnover 4: Dobbs and Kelly fumble the exchange. Dobbs picks it up and the ball is punched away by Hardreck Walker, recovered by Daeshon Hall.

Turnover 5: Dobbs' pass is bobbled by the Tennessee receiver and intercepted by Justin Evans.

Turnover 6: Kelly runs up the middle and the ball is stripped by Jarrett Johnson as he is going through the offensive line. As Dobbs attempts to recover it, it falls into the hands of Nick Harvey at the A&M 2.

Turnover 7: Dobbs, under pressure from Myles Garrett, throws over the middle and the pass is intercepted by Armani Watts who feigned double coverage on the left outside receiver.

I am bragging about winning games in a variety of ways. We can beat Auburn 29-16 and beat Tennessee 45-38. That's what a complete team does

Ummm...your defense still allowed 700 yards, which is an insane amount. Also, there was no nursing of a 14-21 pt lead.

Yes, we get it, y'all won, but the defensive play is something to be afraid of, not brag about.

You sound like LSU fans when we got Chavis and we sound like the UT fans who tried to warn us.

Wow. It really is all cyclical.

Unfortunately I saw it

At least we had OT instead of a loss in regulation

You're still missing the point which isn't surprising

You are correct. Aggy further proving their defensive expectations. Solid retirement plan, Chief.

we had OT against Alabama in 2014, too. The fact is, he blew a lead in the 4th, a pretty large one with very litte time remaining. We didn't always lose either, but Chavis liked to make things interesting

Besides Tennessee has been on a tear in the second half against P5 teams all season why are we getting singled out.

UT put up 45 on VT and 38 on Florida, two teams most people think have good defenses

Dude, the only point is that your offense is badass.

Your ability to play shitty D and still win because of your badass offense is irrelevant because the games where your defense does better still involve your badass offense.

To sum up the ONLY point, your defense is shitty and your team wins in spite of them.

You have a good offense. Brag about them.

Agreed, our previous DCs would have given up at least 50 in regulation against Tennessee. Chavis isn't unstoppable but he's a lot better than anything we've had in awhile

Their offense is badass until they play a team that has DBs worth two shits (LSU & Alabama)

We didn't listen to UT, but trust us, 10 and Chavis is a real thing.

If anyone can find a way to lose a game at the end, Chavis can.

Which offense? The A&M one which knocked out two corners with our SPEED back or the Tennessee one?

He's living off of other's recruits, just like he did at LSU & UT.

When Aggy loses their best defensive players after this year with no recruiting to fill those spots..yikes.

Nothing like watching an Aggy cry on Thanksgiving.

whats great is we get the whole family together to laugh at them sitting there on their hands on tv. then they sit in traffic while we have a bonfire and celebrate.

I'm a believer of 3rd and Chavis, truthfully. Doesn't change the fact that he's still better than anybody else we could have right now.

Except we've played excellent defense in games too. We played a better defensive ballgame vs Auburn than LSU did, for instance

Having to carry the team every week had to wear on Chief and I'm glad he can rest easy
