I am so glad the game did not come down to a bad call on fourth down.

I'll never understand what is so hard about having 2 cameras on both sides of the goal line to avoid these kinds of problems. While I do think he was down, I also know they didn't have the camera angle to prove one way or another.

AU still won though.

Yes, it was ruled a TD. He really scored.

I don't think he did. However, I do no think they had a camera angle to overturn the call.

You realize that if Murray doesn't score here, the miracle "play" isn't a thing and Auburn just gets shat on for letting UGA crawl back within striking distance?

this is it at the end of the day. Those are the breaks your dealt. i thought his knee was down and the ball was a foot short but it was called a touchdown on the field and they had nothing that they could say for sure he was down first.

The Coates catch in the first quarter on the other hand, I thought it was pretty clear that he caught the ball with ground causing the fumble.

They showed an angle on the jumbotron in the stadium that seemed to clearly show that he was down.

Think auburn should be happy with it being called a TD

If not you have the ball inside your one. Four plays later after punting from your Endzone GA has the ball at your 40 with 90 seconds left

The way Murray was carving up Auburn in the 4th quarter I think GA wins the game

I agree. Since the call on the field was a TD, there was no way to overturn it. If the call on the field was, he was down at the 1/2 yard, then I think that would've stuck.

Then the officials weren't able to view that angle because the TV is able to show whatever the officals can see.

Thought he was down, but it doesn't matter now.

As much as I hate UGA (even though I think the DSOR is one of the best), I have to give it to Murray he's a great football player and seems like an even better person. He kept a low profile in the offseason and worked hard. I know his last season has been a dissopintment, but at least he set some records. He'll certainly be the best qb in the sec at the next level.

CBS didn't have a good camera angle. They showed 20 times and never showed a shot of the ball crossing after his knee was down.

There were a bunch of questionable calls in that game. The Coates "incompletion", the fumble that Auburn recovered that they really didn't, and the Murray TD.

Meh not really. It looked obvious to us because we were hoping it was but it really wasn't.

I said that last night to some of my friends. If he was called down at the foot line, I think UGA gets 2 and the ball back within a play or two the way their defense was jacked up.

We shouldn't have been in the position for that play to make the difference.
