Opposing football programs, that is.

Discuss.

You mean Texas? No. It was a beautiful slapdown of the whorns, but their bumbling leadership coupled with unwarranted egos is what has destroyed Texas.

But I do love the eternal butthurt of the "if only we hadn't lost Colt".

LSU fans absolutely LOVE dickriding UT-Austin. I think it's because they want to be them so badly

yeah why would a team be upset about losing their starting QB early in a championship game.

He didn't do any favors to the Texas program. They've yet to recover from that game.

It's not that they're upset about it, it's that they convinced themselves that if he hadn't gotten hurt, their #1 ranked rush defense wouldn't have given up two different 100+ yard rushers and multiple TDs.

You have a point. Other than LSU in 2011, keeping your starting QB healthy in a championship game is very important.

No.

Texas wasn't going to win that game with McCoy anyway.

They cant get us off their minds for any topic, ever. I'm sure this will somehow end up being a Chavis thread too.

the brilliance of LSU's system is that we are always prepared for our starter to be hurt.

Texas would have won by 20 with Colt.

McCoy wasn't even that hurt. He took himself out so he wouldn't risk getting hurt before the draft.

He never tried to move his arm, never had trainers looking at him. He got hit hard and said "Nope."

Then a couple weeks later at his pro day, "Look everyone! I'm 100% healthy! It's a Christmas miracle!"
