i dont either. but i know we tied tcu for playing the most freshmen in the nation.

That's fine, but it isn't a category you want to lead the country in multiple years in a row...

Arkansas led in true freshmen played and starters in 2008, not something I would have wanted to repeat in 2009, but it was a good experience for that class.

Are all these guys projected as high picks? Do LSU players hate Les Miles? WTF?

They weren't going to class anyway. Why stay?

Yep, we're fricked on the recruiting trail now

Bingo.

How will Miles sell a recruit on LSU now?

"Son, I put a shitload of players in the NFL and we've got a lot of open spots on the roster right now. You can go to Bama and get processed or you can come to LSU and be a starter."

I mean, after 8 seasons, Miles has proven over and over again that he can't recruit.

How will we ever manage once Saban's cupboard is bare???

We are FUUUUUCCCCCKKKKKEEEEEDDDDD.

LSU just needs to be a little luckier next year in the OL injury department. once the O-line went to shambles it really changed the way they ran the offense (outside of the bama game).

Yeah, I doubt LSU crashes and burns. Y'all have the depth to withstand this but losing that D-line should account for at least 1 extra loss.

Now, that I disagree with. LSU now has OODLES of openings to offer early playing time.

Pretty much THIS. LSU will be fine if this is an anomaly year.

This is so cute, you are so new here.

LSU has good talent at D-line, it is the strength of their program, but if anything it was "down" this past year compared to the 2007ish era.

I would be more worried about aggy replacing two, so far O-linemen, this will be a far more impact as far as the wins and losses to a program.

They were a couple plays away from losing 5 games this year, and the schedule's not getting any easier. Really tough second half of SEC play for LSU. I'd be worried about leadership and the defense if I were them. Will there be enough there to cover up Miles ineptness on offense? Think they take a step back next year.

One of the guys in our group at the signing day recruiting bash every year is a TV/radio football personality and last year he said ALL the big name eligible defensive JRs would be coming out. The only player on your list he didn't mention was Minter. Minter just blew up this year.

He also said Ware and Wing were going too.

So, if he knew this last february then you can rest assured the coaches knew it too. No big suprise there. That's why whenever you heard a DL recruit mention LSU they always said tigers were losing six D-linemen. Same with the DBs. Miles recruited this year with that in mine.

As for TM7 being he wasn't on the team I don't know if he would be classified as a LSU early departure. Really doesn't matter though.

LSU recruits the best of the best with the knowledge that they will lose players early to the NFL. Top selling point to all those GREAT top level high school recruits.

Even with all those early departures to the next level tigers will still have to somehow have 4-5 players either transfer out or give up football so Les can bring in his next great class (29 players) of top notch blue chip recruits.

And a play away from beating Bama. The what if game is pointless.

They aren't getting REC money bro. They need to make a living somehow.

OL is A&M's strength. I could say the same thing. The truth is it will hurt to lose starters on the OL for A&M, just like it will be painful to lose the entire DL for LSU.

No, he doesn't.

We kicked him off the team.

And you don't need to include him to make your point.

The defensive players are the real concern. None of the offensive players really concern me. Wing fell off a little bit last year and his backup seems legit. The defensive losses alone may cost us a game or two next year. Guess we'll have to slit our wrists if we only win 8 or 9 games next year.
