Fresno State article legit? They spell his name Kiffin and Kiffen back to back. Almost like he's two different people.

Capstone, yes, 1994 has been verified - need verification for 1995 and 1996 - we have to make sure there wasn't some Lane "quitting in June of 1996" thing, and Fresno's SID office simply going with "well, he was on the team in '96 for awhile" type stuff.

I actually hope Lane did lie and no program will ever hire him as a head coach. I am perfectly content with him being Bama's offensive coordinator and working wth Saban.

Much like the controversy about Elvis' middle name on his gravestone. Bottom line...Elvis is still alive and Lane's college football experience is a fabrication. Don't get me started on the Zapruter films.
